Yes, the +5 DPS mod really is quite lame.
But, things are at least balanced.

The sum of the effects of all DPSing scouts (non-bards) are essentially even. All sets give the same +Crt and same +DA and same +CA. the only difference is Preds get +7DPS on their lone piece while rogues get +5. *shrugs*

The bonuses are just on different pieces for each class.
The same is seen on pretty much all the archaetype gear, which is DEFINITELY a big step up from the original implementation, which was utterly retarded to say the least.

That's exactly my take on it. I'm glad it's not something that restricts me to wearing 6 pieces. I like the new set bonus setup, because there are a lot of ways you can choose to go now.

This change is handy dandy to be completely honest. I'll probably just stick with the four set from Gloves/Legs/Bracers/Boots or BP.

I made a thread last week on the official boards and PM'd archonix a link to the thread heh so hopefully he will take a look at it and understand that 10%DA for swashes is absurdly better compared to our 15s of enfeeblement. Regardless whether we will rock 6 pieces or not its bullshit.

I also mentioned boosting the hat more to at least 7-10.

I pray to gawwwd he read it, though I doubt it.

Sure, but the effect would end up being patched in 5 months in to the expansion after having to deal with total shit effects until then. Wait, I've seen this before haven't I?

I only have one question after the changes.. why do we get =8 piercing on our bracers when our mythical is slashign and therefore slashing would be better for a set bonus?
