Ive never seen it dispell hostile effects. And make sure that your taunt did not get resisted. If you double up then, the second one cannot be resisted either i think.

YEah, but the dispel is supposed to be on beneficial effects, like I said, you should /petition the shit out of it if you see one of YOUR hostile spells disappear.

I've never seen taunt dispel beneficial spells, ever. And granted I PVE/raid a lot more than I PVP, but 5k kills, most of which involved taunting to strip something or to lock a target, is still enough to see that happen if it was a common bug. Plus, there's about eleventy billion other brigs on the PvP servers who would have seen it by now as well.

You guys can feel free to just ignore Pett. He's in the awkward position of being just another person who has barely enough game knowledge and barely enough people that actually like him to succeed in this crazy virtual world. His "facts" are either opinions, or just plain wrong. He thinks he's king shit of turd hill, but he's just another insecure dbag... and I am honored to have him as my pseudo-stalker on these forums! Seeing him follow me around across every board on eq2flames and type "LOL PVP MORE NOOB" in response to my posts, whether or not they actually centrally revolve around a PVP topic, is fantastic. =)

Maybe some people did not understand what i clearly said.
Ive never seen the taunt dispell HOSTILE effects (my own debuffs for example). It dispells benefical effects, it dispells LOTS of them. Sometimes up to 4 buffs, with double up then 8 buffs. I said that, if your taunt gets resisted you cannot double it up. But if your taunt lands you can double up and the second taunt wont get resisted either (atleast it has never happend to me).

I hope you mean you have never seen it dispell HOSTILE spells. Because it does dispell Benefical buffs.

If you see YOUR buffs being stripped away when you snicker at Leviathan it's because it got reflected back at you.

No, they were claiming that in PVP, snicker can remove your own hostile buffs on another player (i.e., hit dispatch on another player, hit snicker to debuff them, and dispatch gets removed). Which it shouldn't EVER do, and if it does, it's bugged.
