Does the tank take 50% damage and I take 50% damage?

And is the damage verse MY mitigation or THEIR mitigation?

When you use an intercede here is how it works:

You have a chance, since it's 100% it triggers.
On this one, you will take 50% of the non-mitigated damage, and mitigate it based on YOUR mitigation.
While the target will take 50% of the non-mitigated damage, and mitigate it based on THEIR mitigation.

Then you will be full power in 1-intercede.

well "full of power" isnt realy the product of this one, since u'll intercept every hit that might hit the tank including bloody .. powerless autohits

Last night Nexona fight.

Interceded the MT

One auto attack (at least the same second)

I got a 7K hit
Tank got a 17k hit.

Am I missing something?

How I read it is, you don't get 50% of the hit, you actually get 25%, because the "half of damage is prevented" part is for your 50%.

So what happens is, Hit lands, HAT triggers, tank gets 50%, you get 50% , but 50% of that 50% is prevented so you take 25% of the 50%. lmao wow that made no sense.

Here is an example :

Mob hits tank for 1000, but HAT is on and triggers so

Tank gets 500 damage ( before mitigation is taken into account )

You get 500, but 250 is prevented so you get 250 damage done to you ( before mitigation is taken into account )

That could explain why you got hit for only 7k.

no, you intercept 50% of that hit, and tank gets 50% of that hit (unmitigated) and the dmg you intercepted will be also added to your power.

orochan, you're wrong. either that, or the "prevents half dmg" part is broken (or applies to the tank's half and not mine). i regularly can take 10k+ hits when intercepting on silverwing or phara dar, and those mobs obviously dont hit for 40k per swing.
