Well, the same applies to crits as well. Just because one weapon crits doesnt mean the other one will. Both hands have equal chance to crit/DA and their own RNG to determine if they do, so one weapon or DW makes no difference in either case.

It is 50% of each CA's high-end damage number. If for example Entrail M1 (with 0 +CA) reads 1300-2000 damage (all ticks added up), then the cap for it is 1000 +CA. Jagged Blade for example will cap much sooner.

Raising STR increases the +CA cap, does anyone know if AA's (increases damage of X by Y%) and stuff like brigand and dirge mythical do that also?

I'm pretty sure the ca mod is applied last on the list when calcing the max CA mod for a CA.

Not 100% tho, but from the limited testing I did, it would appear that way.

if ur sitting selfbuffed at like 400 thats the absolute maximum imo u wont see a huge increase past 350 already
im sittin myself at 425 atm but thats just because im wearin the set shoulders
will drop as soon as i have the set boots or set gloves

man, there's so much Bad Math(tm) swirling around every DPS discussion that i dunno if i can bring myself to keep reading them. there's usually 1 or 2 people who understand how combat modifiers work (i.e. they have a grasp of high school math), and then everyone else is just fucking clueless. and do we really wonder why so many people are so horrible at choosing gear or parsing?

I'd say 700-800 is a good goal - unless you don't use your top 3-4 CA"s? Cuz half of those is higher than 400

brigands will continue to see a benefit to CA up to about 900 CA damage. beyond that there's only 2 or 3 CA's that will benefit. think about 9 CA's will see benefits up to the 900's, which is more than half.

Guys you can avoid this whole subject if you don't attack. Just show up to the raid. Make a fake macro for Dispatch to fool the people that don't pay attention, parse fights from CoA, and get lewtz.
