Ok, two questions that are bugging me - I'm way tired so maybe I'm missing something obvious:
1. I examine caustic poison - on hotbar, in bags, on broker, it says "inflicts 789 poison damage on target."
Without changing anything, I apply it & examine the poison icon on my hotbar: 573 poison.
I have points in Potency up to the 25% bonus - does that bonus show up on the item examination but not show up via the icon when applied? (573+25% =716.25, correct? where'd the other 72 go, though? Is it somehow showing the average of what that poison
should hit for?)
Tonight I was using Rilissian Vital Strike (don't ask) - that one is supposed to be 394, then when it is on & cast, shows up at 287. On the parse, it hit about 9x at 100, then went to 394 & high end non-crit was 630 (overall, on average it did 394 & higher - so not as bad as it's looking on the examine window).
So I may have answered my own question - display bug? 25% dealie? Or somethin else?
