I had dude telling me 3 things that was looking weird to me. Well I should probably just turn off lvl 1-9chanel.

1) They where telling that Guardian parse higher then Brigand once they are in mytical.

2)That guard could And out solo us since they benefite more from their armor and our stuns just doesn,t get any bether with gears.

3) And that one is probably the one that bug me the most. Assassin then start to also out-solo us since they DPS just get insane and that is bether then our stuns/ debuff for soloing ?

Umm, well our guards are mythical, and our non mythical brigand out parses them by huge amounts, so that ones false.

I don't think a guard is gonna out solo a brigand, though my guard does solo well... im not sure about this one... but i know my guilds brigand is one hell of a soloer. lol.

As for the assassin one, i dont think i can out solo a brigand, lol (Mythical assassin) unless i get a full flurry hit and can 2 shot the mob im soloing with execute and a flurry. which has never happened to me, and i solo the named in JW all the time.

So im pretty sure all of those are false. lol.

1) No, unless the guardian is awesome and the brig is a scrub.

2) Fuck no. I play both and my brig solo's WAY better than my guardian. Granted I'm not of the quality player that some on the board are but I can solo blue heroics on my brig and on a good day I can solo Green heroics on my guardian if they are 8+ levels below me.

3) I doubt this is true as well. The ability to put a mob on guaranteed stun-lock for 10+ seconds with the right AA setup is pretty hard to beat in a soloing situation. Yeah, a sin's DPS is better than ours so if they can get off 3 or 4 of their big shots yes, that mob is toast, but then they have to wait for those shots to refresh. I guess it's probably almost a tortise and the hare kinda situation. They can kill a mob or 2 in a row in a couple hits, but then they've blown their wad and have to wait out their recasts, meanwhile we are chain-pulling and taking slightly longer to kill them, but we can kill non-stop.

Soloing: Brigands, either with or without the mythical, are still one of the most effective classes at soloing heroic content. Get the right AA spec (STA/INT) and you can quickly and effectively solo a 7-8 named rotation in Karnor's. No other class can do that... at least not as cleanly and safely. (Coercers can do it, but with more risk. Brawlers can do it as well, but the lack of mitigation debuffs means the named fights are a lot more difficult for them.)

Solo DPS: Assassin's with mythical will pull way ahead on raids due to the proc, but for soloing there is still nothing in the game that beats our 2 physical mit debuffs. You're tearing away about 8k worth of the mob's mitigation, and that in itself is going to be a huge amplifier to your burst dmg.

Raid parses: On something like VP trash, guardians in DPS gear can go into offensive stance and be able to parse 3-5k. A brigand with a substandard group will be parsing 4-5k. This is probably where the discrepancy is being noted. On fights that MATTER the guardian will be back in defensive gear/stance, and the brigand should have the correct group setup. If not, then tell your raid leader to fix the fucking group setups.

Spot on really, (guard btw) On trash in VP we do get 4k-5.5k on VP trash often (although i dont need to change stance). but hes right on named we are either too busy to dps as much or our hit rates goes way down(named frontal block etc) so it ends up being more 3-4k. Still if you have a sucky brig even that might be enough to top them. depends alot on the Brigand.

As for soloing. I can solo most of mistmoore castle but thats about the best we can do. trying to solo the likes of KC easily etc is just beyond us. Brigs do this way more effectively.
