Can I get in on this?

EverQuest II Players

It looks like mine and jonathons builds are pretty similar. Makes sense, sounds like our guilds are at about same level of progression.

I have manip hood that comes in when coif is down and I just got my 4th set piece so I had to park my RE gloves. Jewelry is my biggest need but there are few pieces that are giving me the most for my dkp. I am hoping to immedietely upgrade my cloak and my off-hand. My wishlist includes several haste items that I can scoop up should I ever replace my cloak.

The biggest questions I have are prob:

Which quest reward from Aria (Amulet of Agony or Deathchimes) is priority? It seems that neck is least likely to see a real upgrade any place else.

Should I still be in the market for the BP set piece? Anyone have both the set piece and maestro's done any testing?

Maestro Chest can spike DPS on its own without you needing to do anything.

Also, on your gear. I think you should take a look at better rings / earrings / cloak. The collection waist from collars is my fav at the moment. It has 2 things that I need, haste (for base haste) and +2 MC. Also, i noticed a few of your pieces have ranged crit on them, you really go ranged?

No ranged at all. Dont even use t8 ammo, summoned ammo ftw. Anything with ranged crit I am wearing should also have melee crit or some other effect/stat that I do need. I agree though, my jewelry is << par.

I am looking forward to seeing what the BP can do for me. Its still new. After looting it the guild took us to kill Trak and Mindbite (sp; the proc from BP) registered at about 18 dps. Low, but it was Trak. I cant wait to see what it can do on some trash/ZWs.

A question about belts. I know I need to replace my cloak and there are easilly attainable haste items in VP for me (ring, ear), so assuming I am getting haste from elsewhere would the +2 MC from Baldrics still be better then +95 CA damage from my Lavawalkers?

Sokokar Blood Bangle can go then. no need for it.

Depends on how much CA damage you have. I personally am low on the CA Damage end and have 270. But in my defense I have 74ish Crit unbuffed.

BUT... On the flip side... this guy in my guild EverQuest II Players gives me a run for my money zone wide and doesn't have all the toy's i have. He does Blood Rake and
Dispatched mastered, dunno if that makes a huge impact on his parse.

Oh to have Dispatched Master 1.... hell, blood rake would rock also. Masters make a difference, if only they were more readily available! Ah well, maybe RE2 will cough 1 or 2 up along with a cloak and gloves one of these days.

What's killing me right now is still no luck on Double Up. However, my defiler is now 50 so is almost ready to be level-locked in superhappyfuntimes Poet's for the next 2 or so years =(.

On the plus side, Milyex goes down tonight! :D

Nobody should know Poet's and Hidden Cache as well as I do. It is silly how many time I have run those!

That zone sucks major ass and no one should ever have to farm that thing to get those old masters. They should include some upgrades to those skills in the next expansion, because it's retarded at this point.

Oh, that would be fantastic. However, it will all be a part of the SmartLoot system and we will never see the fuckers drop! :P

And sorry for quasi-derail! Got me started thinking about DPS, gear tweaks, wishlists and BAM! ---> fucking masters.
