most spell crit items have no equivalent item with DB attack on them.
as i posted in Jonathons thread on crit rates, its not gonner net you much without items that increase crit %, ie old crit robe, trak ear, new crit chest or byzola cloak.

Agree with spell crit. Then i look at zw parses non-melee crits makes me cry. But there's not to much spell crit items for brigs. Signet and SoH - i can't remember others. Byzola cloak is really bad, i'll never use it over trak's or re2 cause they are better even without melee crits.
P.S. and yep, i forgot about 4% spell crit pots, thanks for it

Sure spell crit would be lovely...as an aa like predators. How many brigs are capped on melee crit?

EverQuest II Players

So I got extremely lucky this month, including Traks cloak night before last (YAY). I been lazy about making the haste belt but will prob get it done before tonights raid since I dumped Korsha cloak. With my dkp where it is now I can prob look forward to picking up some mediocre jewelry and hopefully my set piece arms over the next month or so.

I have all but the shoulders for my VP set. I also have Maestros BP (only one in raid force) and RE gloves. Currently I am running with Maestro/boot, forearm, gloves, legs set pieces on most of what we do. I swap in set BP and RE gloves for anything that is still somewhat difficult (Trak, Maestro, Byz, Avatars).

My thinking is on these more difficult mobs I wont see as much from the Mindbite proc on BP. Does this make sense?

If a 2nd Maestro BP enters raid force, should I just punt asap and switch to set BP or would it be worthwhile to wait for a third before the switch?

What about grouping scenarios? Seems to me Maestro BP would come up short with only 6 peeps hitting mob as opposed to 24?

Even with 3 Maestro BP's in raid it is better than our set one. When they are 3 - each of them give about 200+ ZW + 5 melle crit, that's better than 7 DA anyway. I'd change it to set, only if you get 4 or 5 in the raid mb, or to the avatar's one just now.
