Gear selection advice
Keep in mind that due to a variation of different reasons, contested MOB'S are not on the plate yet. Please limit your advice to loot that is not Tanagrin and T8 avatars.

The Wastes Hunter earring can go first, followed by the Shackle. For the earring, there is that nice 3 DA/MC earring/ring from blue shinie collection in RE2 And/Or the very nice trash drop ear from SoH. If you are in a pinch and need the extra 2 DA over MC, the Jade Sharshank ear from Fens quest is decent for a quick 2 DA.
The wrist from Kluzen may be a good option for upgrading the Shackle right off.
Your wishlist is pretty damn solid though!
I can't access eq2players from work--what is your unbuffed MC/DA?

You're going the same route I am and the same route I'm assuming most brigands are going. Although..... I don't use the SoH bp because I let the other less fortunate people use it lol. I use my set bp atm. I would get your set gloves if you can that way you can get manipulators hood. That is what I exchange manipulators and Cursed Coif.
Go for Deathchimes if you can ever manage to get it, I know the drop rate sucks we still haven't seen the aria. That would be in place of the shard of fear since 25 stats is ghetto in comparison. Also one more thing. Until you pick up a Trakanon earring which I haven't seen yet either you can get one of those Shuddering Earrings off of SoH trash.

Isn't that the earring with Manaweave? God i need to work on getting those blue goggles. And got a name so i can put it up there instead of one of the others, .. manaweave is niiice.

With a Bard my Melee Crit is 80%... So whatever the bard brings to the table, take that away.. (but I'm always with some type of bard  )
BTW, the top section is what i have (for those who cant see it from work) and the green section is what I want.

Mark of the Ankexfen is the earring with Manaweave.
2 MC, 2DA on it too.
Also, I see you have the RE2 Ring/Wrist on your list.
If you are aiming for that, may as well throw on the Belt too (Chieftan's Baldric from Siltsea).
It has 2 MC, 2 RC, 2 DPS. And then the set bonus with the Bangle is 1 MC, +10 CA, and the Goblin Bane proc... which still procs on any type of mob (just for less damage.. like 500-ish i think).
The toss on Mayong Cloak for your haste replacement or something.

Yeah, the earring that Camryn listed is the blue shinie one. Maybe I should stop selling the collection pieces and get the goggles! :P
With your MC up at around 80 with the dirge, I'd try to keep adding to DA if possible, but tbh, you probably have a better idea of the little gear tweaks than I would. I do know that every time siltsea drops something other than gloves, or Slamhammer drops a metal chest without the scout cloak, I cry a few more tears.

I'd LOVE it, but our mage's are stockpiling dkp to get that damn thing so I'm better off dealing with the combo effect of shard of fear / shard of hate.

First of all Johnathon do you have tnt-set (or just ring), Manipulator's hood and set gloves?
Ok, 4 set items for you are chest+forearms+legs+boots. If you have Manipulator's hood and set gloves - replace this slots right now. If you have tnt-ring - replace kor-sha's ring for it (and one of earings if you have full set). Agree with earings but you can use soh trash ear while you're waiting for trak's one. About rings - Signet of Betrayal is the greatest one, proc gives you about 100+ dps in any fight without proc buffs. Wrists - I use TB+PL for da but I have RR and don't care about crits. For you TB+Gahdash's Bangle - best choice. Charm slot - of course Shard of Hate+Deathchimes. But if aria drops you'll have a hard choose between charm and beautiful neck. And I love re2-cloak and don't want to replace it for anything.
P.S. And yeah, start to thinking about haste item when your guild kill Byzola. Sorry for my ugly english  |
