I am thinking about perhaps coming back to eq2 so i have a couple questions...


1) Raid content, is just the same we saw in t5-7.5? Has Roger decided to put WoF on everything again?

2) Brigands role in raids? Before i left i was top 3 dps is that still the case? Or are we just debuff bots with much lower dps.

3) AR, so what exactly does it do now? is it still changed every 2-5 LU's

AR static? As in, no need to joust? Color me in as not knowing wtf I am doing then. More info please because my AR is no where near reliable enough to stay in through AE calls.

Well, if you time your CAs right for AE mobs, it can seem static! However, I only risk it for AEs that will not destroy me. Kluzen, anything in PR, few others that I can remember.

Safe house... I stay in for them all (except avatars and tanagrin if we ever pull them) until safehouse procs. then I joust.

and the static comment means its not changing... not that it stays up 100% of the time.

Here are the real answers.

1) All raid content is straight burn except 1 fight and during most encounters there are 1-3 aes depending on difficulty, and you are either perma stifled or stunned or knockbacked, have to constantly dance around, or have to separate yourself from the raid or a combination of all of the above.

2) Average-good group we are top 6 dps still, great group you can top 3. However, you will never beat a predator now who is in the same group with the same buffs. It all depends on encounter, group and gear really.

3) AR is just as reliable as it has been since they changed it in eof. There are some mobs with the damage shields that will fuck you over and some scripted aes you cant avoid but for the most part if you aren't retarded you can avoid most AEs.

what else is there? AoC encounters all seem to be dumbed down eq2 encounters. WoW raiding isn't all that fun, it seems more like work then raiding.

There really isn't any MMOs worth playing anymore, it sucks :\ Unless you have friends left over in EQ2, I honestly wouldn't be playing this anymore, wouldn't be playing anything else either though.

ya, i think i realized that i enjoyed eq2 far more than wow....and aoc needs maybe 6mo before it is maybe worth while...
