Hi!
So I am considering betraying the swashy I have been leveling up to a brigand for the better debuffs for utility. And I know many of the previous posts deal with the difference in utility/debuffs between the two classes but:


1. Is there any difference (on average considering good players with equivalent gear) in single target DPS?
2. How do the swashy/brigand fabled/myth epics compare?
3. Is the brig AA tree any more useful than the swash one?

4. Does it look like one will get more shafted than the other with TOS, I see there has been some negativity on this forum about the new expansion.

Usually the swash is still doing great dps on single target, will of course spike if its a multiple target encounter, so they are strong on both really. Brig is usually much closer to swash on single target of course, higher or lower, but not by much.

Imo, brigand mythical is much better than the swashbucklers.

Brigand has 30% higher dmg to rear based ca's, while swashbuckler has 10% increase in all.

Brigand has a proc that does more damage and also causes an added 15% DA, while the swash has lower dmg proc, and a dot on it, thought the swashbuckler one will trigger more often than brig.

Brigand gets 10% to debuffs, swash gets an additional effect to t-swipe, also a 8% to hate transfer.

Other than that the swash tree is a lot better than brig one.

Tbh Brigands pwn all so i wouldnt worry about any of the small crap like aa's
