Re: Evasive maneuvers
I think it is...but still the best point to use it is just after you double up those 3...it's a point where your aggro spikes really hard so you have a good chance to loose a ton of aggro by loosing 1 position at that point

Re: Evasive maneuvers
Actually, you may be better off using it right before that depending on where your group members are currently at in the hate list.

Re: Evasive maneuvers
Usualy if you double up dispatched, enfeeblement and blood rake, it's pretty early in the fight so you haven't build any significant aggro before doing it.

Re: Evasive maneuvers
Im a ranger but this is the way i look at it... Its pointless to use it as an actually detaunt because on your next AA you're going to pull agro right back unless your tank has taunts up, and if they did you shouldn't have lost agro in the first place... Over all I think the actual detuants will drop our hate a little bit lower. The only difference is this one has a slight attack before the drop in position. Now had soe actually done something productive and made it a 2 or more position drop it would actually be usefull... I personaly like to use its say if I throw a big CA, then AA/DA emediatly afterwards for the added dps instead of a regular detaunt, not necessarily when i HAVE agro.

Re: Evasive maneuvers
Don't have access to the game ATM but I believe it has a slower cast time them most of our other CA. It does have descent damage, I mainly use it when I raid and joust out to avoid an AOE, I hit that and then double throw.
I am not going to go so far as to say it is useless but I agree with many of the complaints about the spell, it wasn't very well thought out.
