I have the 1h from Caves of the Afflicted. Where would it rank with the BV Axe and the Lifespike?

Imho best offhand weapon is Lifespike from SoH (LootDB.com | EverQuest II Item Database - Lifespike, Stiletto of Ruin) and 2nd best is probably Battleaxe of Venom (also from SoH, LootDB.com | EverQuest II Item Database - Battleaxe of Venom)

unless you are at 130~ or so Mc and 100DA before you equip the Talon, the +MC+DA will give you more dps than the proc's of the life spike and the axe added together. never mind the upper end damage crit hits from the talons monster spread range.

the new Avatar weapon which is basically the talon with a damage proc added to it is the best wpn so far in tso, Talon is the 2nd best.

for non contested killing Brigands, the new weapon with nearly identical damage spread to the talon is probably the best, unless you have a shit ton of spell crits and are always in a grp with a dirge and temp, have a choker and the dirge has the leg proc increasing bp(not 100% sure its the bp) on. then it would be a close choice.

It is. The proc increase is also attached to CoB so it is raidwide. Troubs also get it on PoTM, both stack for additional proc chances.

Guess you could count the sig quest reward for that butcher knife. I dont farm tso instances so havnt seen anything worth while. only place i go regularly is PoF. So besides that sabre someone posted lifespike is the next best thing for non contested raiders.
