Macro question
My question relates to macroing CAs. I have most of my positionals macroed, so that the back/flanking attacks are all on three hotkeys. Is this an ok way to do things? I get the impression that most brigandsdon't have their attacks macroed, but perhaps I am not picking up the clues. Thanks in advance.

Re: Macro question
Just make sure you aren't queuing the macros.

Re: Macro question
I stopped using /ra Dispatch in a macro with the CA. Since Dispatch can be resisted now, it's imho better to use a seperate button and announce it only if it has landed!
Macros are not really needed for a brig, and especially with TSO using CA chain of macros could lower your dps! You don't want to spam several CAs, if you have a debuff on you which makes your CAs miss!
Only macro I use is /target_previous ... so on multi mob encounters you can choose which two mobs you double up the debuffs on.

Re: Macro question
I don't think assigning multiple CAs to be casted in one macro is wise. Because if you spam use this macro (which will cast any of the assigned CA in the macro, which is up), you'll potentially skip or delay your auto attack from landing. Thus lowering ur dps.
But if you have Logitech's G15 keyboard, you can assign delay between the keypresses of your recorded G15 macro (which is not the same ofcourse as EQ2 macro). By that way you give more changes for auto attack to land between the casts of CAs. However I don't know does EULA (or CoC) of EQ2 prohibit use of macro keyboards (I got the keyboard but I've never bothered with the macro aspect of it).

I agree that new macro for dispatched has landed is good solution, like you said it can be resisted. At the moment I still use a macro which will state it has been landed and dispatched CA is assigned to the macro as well.

Re: Macro question
I haven't ever noticed mine resisted (yes I look at my parses) but how do y'all find the time to check midfight? I'm always busy spamming rake, enfeeb, ss, du right after disp.
My only problem with the macro is I tend to spam the raid channel trying to get into position sometimes but noone has complained so far.
In all seriousness though I do find quite a few macros useful.
Lucky break/Roughen
Boot dagger/Rob
Hideaway/Rob
Savy/AR
Off stance/Befuddle
Off stance/Off stance (drops stance, casts stance...because I have had it fail to apply otherwise)
Def stance/Def stance (yeah I know its almost useless...when linebacking about it)
Havoc/Offhand weapon (JW hammer..click to rearm, nothing more embarassing than trying to fight with your sledge...also offhand into primary, oilstone, macro, stone Havoc)
Equip Haddens earring, use haddens earring (because I am that lazy)
Target or assist ma
Target various mobs like VP adds, etc
All harvesting, collection, catalogue creature (again because I am that lazy)

This is awesome and I am so stealing this. I can't believe I never thought of this solution to make targetting DU so easy.
