You can't add all your crits though. You have to figure out what 2% of your crits are and weigh that against the damage done by a vamp handle because that is the tradeoff (or 4% and 2 vamp handles, whatever). Not to mention the healing on the vamp handles means that much less of the group wards your choker is eating (which may or may not be an issue).

I'm not saying it isn't worth it. I'm sure there comes a point where the spell crit outweighs the vamps. Trying to figure out at what point it is.

Crap I forgot all about that ratio BS.

I don't remember if vamp handles heal for same dmg the do, but 20 hps is like 2% of one CA with choker on and I am not sure if healing prove apply before or after ward is
used, someone else will have to answer that.

Vamp handles dont proc near enough to hadly make a difference for a choker. If you have probs with a choker, get a new healer imo. That or take it off on the harder fights.

Ok, to add more confusion the vamp handles crit as well. They don't crit at the same rate as caustic, pom, and the other half dozen or so other classes procs that I benefit from during a typical raid. I'm guessing it is from bards direct (I'm terrible about remembering names of other classes spells) but is not affected by general spellcrit? For example I'll have like 17% spellcrit across the board but the vamps are criting 10%.

Well I still can't quite pin it down. The dps I get from a vamp seems to vary between 17 to 34 depending greatly on my group setup. Extra proc buffs I'm sure make the most difference. However, extra procs makes spell crit worth more so it evens out as well.

Or, from a Spell Critical Chance perspective:
1% Spell Critical Chance = 17 dps from Spell Procs

If for sake of discussion we assume this to be true (op will tell you that the formula is still not the be all end all) then 2% crit>vamp handle under any circumstances.
