Yup that is nice weapon, what I use too. As long I get lifespike which in my view touch better.

So why does Lifespike not make the list? I think I'd still use it over the axe and probably the meatcleaver as well (too bad my offhand weapon is a pos).

haha yeh, i asked that on page 2, didnt really get an answer lol. tho the axe is a saber now, and it has a good proc, so i think its better than the lifespike. and i think meatcleaver is better ez.

I'm running with 3 piece Dauntless at the moment (Chest, Gloves, and Leggings). Next upgrade I am looking at is the helm, boots and shoulders from Soul Lancer, +8 CA/Spell base damage on the shoulders, 3 piece bonus giving an additional +4% base damage.

Not sure if others would say this is a viable option or not.

If you have no access to raid gear it sounds like a lovely option

Although I kinda lean more towards the Wilderness Warrior over the Soul Lancer.

Couple non-raid charms - because not all of us pull avatars
Essence of Mastery - The Master (Miragul's Phylactery: The Crucible)
Malovari's Misplaced Bauble of Banishment - Zraxth (The Ruins of Guk: Ykesha's Outer Stronghold)
Also the quest reward Survival Accord Medal from A Higher Purpose has mcrit and a nice proc that's good for about 60dps (and I am spellcrit impaired) and really just requires a bunch of jackassing around the moors to get.

Wilderness Warrior Shoulders > Soul Lancer imo. Maybe I am missing something?
Certainly can't see why I'd wear the gloves over the Dauntless.
Greater lifetap from Dauntless 3-piece is good for about 80 dps still outweighs gains from 8% spell mod if you are short on procys (yes I am still going to get ww shoulders anyway...soon as I get 1 more good proc item)
