I'm lv 80 with 120+AA and t8 mastercraft gears and instance dropped gears mixed, all skills are A3. In a group my dps is nearly 1400 - 1800, but my groupmate's is higher 2000, sometimes higher than 4000.
I heard that the dps of brigand is not very low and equal to wiz, but what I saw of dps is damned low!! Why??

120 AA aint a lot and mastercrafted aint that good tbh, but more important: what weapons do you have ? And Instances can vary aswell. For example my dps can kinda suck in TSO instance because there are way too many multiple mob encounters. And i really would not compare our dps to wizard dps. It is indeed true that brigands can parse as high as many wizards, but TOP wizards will reach numbers that we will not be able to get. Also what kind of grp set up do you have? Do you have a support class t hat gives you important buffs? Like a dirge or a coercer with +DPS for you. Too many different factors matter mate.

Brigs are a very gear and group make-up dependent class. To me blunt, your MC gear is pretty awful at lvl 80. If you don't have your epic yet, that should top priority. After that, if you are not into raiding you need to run instances for shards and good drops. Most of the shard armor is better than RoK legendary.

Diagnosis: Patient is bleeding from every orifice and has 38 things wrong with his skill, spell/ca quality, gear, aa's, probably positioning, concept of the class, etc., etc.

Treatment: Read everything on this board - use half of it, re post in 2 weeks when you have a clue. Clearly you haven't bothered to read the board yet - why are people trying to help this goof ass? You've put more effort into your replies than he put into his entire toon.

According to EQ2players he does have his epic, and he has a decent fabled offhand. My question is how he managed to get those when the majority of the rest of his gear is MC trash. And the gear that isn't MC trash is legendary trash. Infused loop of night = suck. Shaped obsidian band = suck. Level 52 displaced frosty paw = suck. Skleross bands of glory = suck. The rest of your gear isn't absolute crap but it isn't good either, at least it has some DA or MC on it (feather cloak, coif of lingering, darkscout neckguard, severed paw).

Run TSO instances, get loots and shards: fix gear. With the exception of your weapons your gear is what I'd expect to see on a level 75 that didn't know WTH they were doing.

Your AA is low also. And make sure what you do have is spent intelligently (ie, read about them here and copy someone elses).
