About brigand stat choose..

I'm confused about brigand gear stat: str, slash/pierce, mc, da, dps, mcm.. and so on.
How many damage do 1 str provide? If I have 1k str, should I choose 10 str or 1 mc?
It's said that mc is only 140% of the normal damage and double is 2 times of the attack. so da = 2/1.4 mc?
Is there any formula that indicate the value of these stats?Such as
1 str = 1pt, 1 da = 20 pt, 1 mc = 14 pt, 1 dps = 15pt (obviously wrong, just for an instance.) as a reference.

Misunderstood..
Last time I wanna know why brigand has a very low dps because I cannot find any clue that indicates what position a brigand in of all dpser.
And this time I wanna know what gears should a brigand choose and how to estimate each gear from DPS, MC, DA, Haste and so on. I searched Melee Crit, Double Attack keyword in the forum and cannot grab any valuable information. Therefor I posted this topic hopin someone can give me any suggestion but what I recieved is totally mislead..
