Which is a decent guide to how to set up act triggers.

Good luck helpless one, now you know about the magic of search functions.

Wow, aren't you just the coolest. Just another classic example of the douchebaggery of people on flames.

I think you took a wrong turn, did you mean to troll eq2helpfulfairies.com? The OPI didn't even use the search function or try to help himself. Why weren't you here a few days ago to happilly be his bitch and fetch him information he was too lazy to even look for? EQ2flames, and specifically the brig forums could absolutely use little bitches like you to gather information we're too lazy to get for ourselves.

How about it, fuckface, do you want to be the brig forum bitch? You already qualified under the 'sandy vag about flaming people on eq2flames' requirement for the position. Do you have an overbite? Nobody likes hanging scraper teeth - let's get you a proper interview?

The problem is Wiz, is your advice was bullshit and you didn't even realize that AR doesn't log a line.

I just pointed to how to set up an ACT trigger to someone who didn't bother to try to find the info. As for AR NOT being logged... why would I know this or care? Who would want a pinging note every second or two as AR pops on or gets dispelled and pops back on and then off and then on and off? I didn't even get into how useless the question was :P

I thought about setting up an ACT trigger fro AR and came to the conclusion that it would be rather pointless.

In the 5 seconds i have before an AE i can either spam like hell or begin to joust - So knowing that it has proceed at this stage is irelivant as i am now committed to either staying in to get the proc, which could be instanlty fucked by one of the more serious damge sheilds that stop CAs hitting etc anyway, or running to the safe distance, or my prefered option die and safehouse.

I am not a timer genius... but i can think of only 2 maybe 3 i have come across in TSO that are 100% reliable or where the mob has a clear casting animation that gives enough of a visual warning. Most others seem to have a min duration which i will work with,

As for dispelable damge sheilds, which mobs we talkign about? Unless u dont want to say, NP. I shoudl really start taunting more... working some of this crap for myself .......bad briggy.

AR might trigger and then again it might not trigger.

Well do you?

For example, one of the 2 damage shield on kultak (the one that procs on each strike) can be dispelled by pallies (and maybe druids too). But brigand taunt doesn't work on it.

All class damage shields can be dispelled by the right class, and a few other ones.

1 of the 2 ?? See far as i was concerned i only noticed 1 haha well tbh that mob is so piss easy im not really that phased by it.

Im a lot more bothered by mobs like Xebnok, again an easy kill overall but with 3 Aes but with the CA blocking damage sheild - effectivley making this one an AR nightmare.

Switch - poxy DS but easy

Tythus - No damage shield and an absolute a dream for a brig - you can sit on it 24/7 and just have fun

The rest of palace - Annoying but no more damage shields that stop AR (bust your gear but...) Not ready to pull Anashti yet so not sure how that will be

Are you saying that Everyone of these "miss CA attack while under influence" can be stripped? (i know u said it ) cos i will force a druid to spec for it if so.
We don't use a pally but i assume SK has similar?

I just don't like having one of our defining abilities made randomly 8% worthless. and 8% sure seems like 66% when you are really needing it.

No those "CAs won't do shit" damage shields can't be dispelled as far as I know (they aren't class spells either).

On Switch I never had much trouble with the damage shield. It does force me to joust from time to time, if kb is due right after it, but I never died due to it.
