Question about 1hd & dw

Before i got my shard..i used gdoh & vampiric axe for str-agi line..
and i can hit 2.5k+ while my haste & dps buff up..
and now i have shard..but harder to get 2.5k+ on 1 fight..
don't know if it's chain CA problem or something

don't know why i usually parse between 1800~2200
even i use band of thugs or dps haste buff..still rarely get 2500+

it might just be that your dual wield setup is superior to your one-hand setup with the weapons you're using. it could also be a playstyle thing.

i know i parse better with wurmslayer and the vampiric axe of balance than i did with chel'drak's shard.

I'll assume you have ~36 Hastepoints in this Group. (Cloak + Waistadornement + Mystic-Dog)
That's about 42 effective Haste% (Just guessing, don't have an eq2 isntallation on this computer)

That would have your shard just below 2.0 delay, which would be fine, assuming again you are str/wis speced.
If agi/wis speced, this would be the worst delay possible, though.

Then again, imho the high dps numbers of rogues wielding one handers depend on the combination of double attack and haste and to a leser extend also dps% and melee-crits thrown in this mix.
The groupsetup you have here therfore is very unfavourable to a brigand.
This reflects in that you're only doeing 34% of your dps with melee.
E.g. My perccentage here ist about 45% to 50% most of the time.

Simply said:
This groupsetup sucks and if you are agi/wis speced it sucks even more. ;)
This is a tankgroup and not a dps-group. so i think doing 1,9k dps here is very ok.

Yeah, looks like the group setup you posted is holding you back. You are not in a true DPS group that will build to your strengths. That looks more like an off tank group with you getting moderated for hate.

ya i was in the group feeding hate to our ST(paladin)...
but the question is in the same group i can parse 2.5k+ on 1 fight with dw..
maybe it's playstyle problem or something..now i feel my casting time is SO slow without sailwind...

Well, if your grouping is typically of this setup then maybe DW is a better choice for you. If you end up with a full on DPS build group, the 1H line shines nicely. I've been wanting to test DW with a Grinning Dirk, but I can't get one to drop on our alt raids to grab. I promised our assassin he could take the first one, since he'd be using it full time and I'd be testing with it, so I'm going to need 2. Last 4 alt raids in Lyceum we've gotten legendary boxes from that mob.

the WIS line only benefits you more than DWs if you are in a purly DPS group with good haste and DPS buffs. id say you need around 75 each to make it worthit. otherwise the faster casting and extra procs from the DWs (and higher DR) more than outweigh it.

and of course, dont even THINK of losing the STR line =)

I always see posts on the eq2 forums discussing 1h vs. dw and with the testing and comparing and whatnot I have never seen a noticeable enough difference to say this way is better. They both seem to be just about the same. I think it all has to do with your playstyle and how you want to play. Personally I like the feel of dw better so that's how i'm speced. The other brigand in my guild is 1h and he enjoys it just the same. Our parses are almost the same and sometimes so close we're almost twins.

I have to agree with previous poster...I'm specd DW, other brigand in guild is 1hand.. and if we're in same group w/same buffs... difference in our dps in very little.
