My ranged slot I switched to the Rigid Scale Bow, using a Bazghul to summon ammo. Nice stats, 114 DR. I don't see switching back to a sheath again unless they come out with something nicer in the next expansion. The damage I'm getting off of this bow is much better then the sheaths. We only had one Ranger and we made 5 bows so...was easy to get one. Only time I use my sheath now is when I go to the arena.
