for me, i've found that: wurmslayer + vampiric axe of balance > chel'drak's shard

Re: Tips'n'Tricks
I'll use subterfuge on a raid if I get agro on a mob accidentally and it's not a big deal (i.e. easy named or trash). I don't go after agro intentionally because like the guys in the other thread said, it fucks up 23 other people. Maybe not every time, but why get into a bad habit?
Moving on, I'm sort of surprised no one's mentioned Honor Among Thieves yet. 90% of the time it gives you as much or more power than manastone in group fights. In raids you can often find yourself getting 2000 power back in one shot, in addition to helping your tank (or a mage you're trying to save when Appeal is down). As far as I'm concerned, it's a must have, and much more reliable/useful than the Malicious Assault upgrade (which doesn't even work and even if it did would probably be as reliable as AR).

I just dont think spending the points to get to h.a.t. is worth it. When I can just use a mental breach or power tap adornement.

Re: Tips'n'Tricks
I would have to agree with Pants here, I just recently switched to give Honor Among Thieves a shot and was not impressed with it. The return on power did not seem to be very much when compared to the buffed up debuffs from the aoe radius reduction line. I don't think i ever got more then a few % back after using it.
I'll just go back to using Mental Breach and hoping they fix the radius reduction

Re: Tips'n'Tricks
Eh, the extra points were enough to only be missing the extra STR reduction on skewer as far as debuffing goes. The stuff you have to buy to get to HaT is not all incredible (unless you're PVP in which case it's key), but it's definitely better than a completely useless end ability.

Re: Tips'n'Tricks
I find Honor Among Thieves to be just to be a waste of AA, to get and to use. There are very few fights I even need to use a mental breach, let alone run out of power. I'm on caustic poison all the time unless I'm doing Matron. I used Caustic on Wuoshi the other night without running out of power. Just be vigilant with your manastone, potions, hearts/shards, overflowing vessel, totems for between combat regen, etc...you should already have a regen class in your group on raids as well, sometimes two. Why spend that many AAs to get something you can do without?

when they give me a dirge and coercer in my raid group every time maybe i'll respec but good point :-)
i guess you could also say that any raid that needed a brigand to intercept damage on the MT doesn't deserve to be raiding, either :-)
