Re: Tips'n'Tricks
This might be a little late but i found subterfuge to be really great for regaining hate on Tactician's Armor in MMiS last night. Appeal + Subterfuge was a sure way to get back the aggro and do some extra damage at the same time. Also, those two usually allowed for Vaunt to be back up for the taunt after Subterfuge went off. I hope I'm not sounding dumb talking about this but I think it is worth mentioning in case someone hasn't tanked the mob yet and may have to sometime.

Re: Tips'n'Tricks
Just a few things.. Anyone else notice that Underground Neg. doesnt always double up on the entire encounter and just our current a target if that... also i use restrain/malicious assault for double up because back when my brig finally hit 70 i tested double up with dispatch, devitalize, rake in a duel with double and the debuff attached did not double... althoe the damage hit twice. I would understand this would give you an extra sec or 2 for the debuff... but worth it? or can anyone prove my findings wrong. thanks in advance.

Re: Tips'n'Tricks
does double up quality matter? I have ad3 dispatch, adept 1 double up, and I SWEAR I saw an ad1 dispatch on the mob when I'm the only brig. what gives?

yeah, it works exactly as u saw. double up will repeat the previous spells on the level of the less of the original spells and the double up.
so the copy's lvl = min(original spell"s level;double up's level).
as example ad3 dispatch and ad1 double up ill make u an ad1 dispatch as secondary spell, and will overwrite the debuff level to ad1.
if u had m1 double up, and the same ad3 dispatch, then the doubled dispatch's level would remain ad3, coz its the lesser level between them.
sry for the hard understanding, english isn't my natural language.

Re: Tips'n'Tricks
that is incorrect.
-i used to have adept 3 double up. and adept 3 dispatch
-i dispatched 1 mob, tabbed to another and doubled up.
- the 2nd mob had adept 1 dispatch on it
-i found master1 double up.
-i did the same experiment as before
-the 2nd mob had adept 3 dispatch on it
maybe if my dispatch was mastered it would be reapplied at master level.
but double up for sure makes a difference between ad1 and master as i have proven ( at least to myself ) with my lil experiment

Re: Tips'n'Tricks
I read through this post just to make sure I wasn't repeating something, but another good tip is if you have your relic BP, to macro it in for when you hit Malicious Assault.
Since I use the 5 set bonus, and one of them I use is the Wayward coat I created a macro that equips my Relic BP, and then hits MA.
Now I also have the same macro switch back to the Coat of the Wayward, but since there is the delay of 2 secs before you can switch out equipment in combat, I just hit the macro again after another CA and it will switch my BP back out.
I tested this for a while, and if you are using the 5 set bonus (reduces Despairing Thrust by 15 secs) - and you cast DT before you hit your MA macro - when you switch out the BP, Despairing Thrust will still be on the 15 sec timer.
It's not the most efficient thing to do, but it's the only way that I can think of (without creating your next CA you chain into a macro that equips the wayward bp after you cast it)....besides if you have the relic BP + Ring of the Four Winds you are gaining 640 (more if it crits) more dps per minute with doing this.
180 x both hits x twice per minute
