Personally, I am a little worried about the whole summoner/ swashy-brigand thing. My husband plays a brigand as his main, so this is rather personal lol

As long as we as summoners <my main is an 80 conji> get some attention I am happy. However, seeing another class get screwed is another thing. Last thing the majority of the summoner community wants is for a major class defining ability to be taken away from the brigands/swashies. This wasnt what we asked for by any means. I know I and others are hoping that there are some decent things given to the swashy/brigands to make up for the losses.

I am trying to reserve judgement atm until things get on test and we find out more about this so that we both know exactly how our roles will change on the raids.

I am just hoping that "What the Devs taketh away, the Devs giveth" as well...and not just some pile of leftover crap given.

Thank you for the info so far Pantz...this might not be as bad as what many of us are fearing. We just need to wait til more info comes out, then we can scream about the sky falling.

Counterpoint: I talked to the dev. You interpreting the quote that some things will be shared so it isn't completely relied on the brigand = only 1 rogue or summoner in raid is completely false.

The goal is to share some of the debuffs while giving each class their own flavor of other debuffs so a brigand isnt the key to your zonewide.

This may change. This is the goal as of now. We have 8 months. Was that nice enough for you?

And normally I am a humble person but not when it comes to being a Brigand in Eq2. I don't claim to know mechanics as well as others, and I don't know shit about any other classes except for how they can help my dps. But yeah when it comes brigands I am an egotistical fuck.. but I am allowed because I have proved myself with parses, posts, and ive backed up everything ive ever said.
