Got a pm for my hotbar setup, here they are and here's my logic.



Left
Bar 1 - Buffs, the shield is a macro to cast befuddle and off. stance, and no thats not yell its an assist macro
Bar 2 - Anywhere attacks and frontals, and ranged
Bar 3 - Primary Debuffs, Snares, the macros in front are dispatch related
Bar 4 - Positional Attacks, Short term buffs, deaggros

Right
Bar 5 - Misc crap ie manastone, hearts and shards, evac, track, calls
Bar 6 - Poisons, BPs to pop on the epitaphe and use it quick, potions, totems, ruffian master 1 muahahah -if only it ever got used!

Unless I need to get swipe up ASAP, I start down bar 3, then 4, then 1. I pretty much have played so long I know when stuff is coming back up ie sideswipe and shrouded, that im always hovering over them.

that was my first instinct... but then i saw that it was right next to the other deaggro skills.

oh well... never finished that part of bloodline chronicles.

Yeah its thristing veil, its also right with the short term buffs =p. i mean its not much of a spell.... but anything to boost that dps even if its not much.

my setup for PVP:



top is ranged stuff, snares, intercepts, short term buffs, non-attack debuffs etc.
middle all non-positional attacks (except revoke)
bottom all positional/stealth attacks

stuff on the right is stuff i have to switch for PVP (jump boots, see invis, riposte belt, create ranged ammo)

and yes i use a shitty treasured ranged weapon from FD because it has a 35m range

the second copy of Appeal for Mercy is a macro with /useabilityonplayer so i can set it to a person who is getting attacked often without changing my target.

I usually run down my bottom bar (primary) and up to my middle bar (secondary) and dabble in the top bar biased on whats going on.. then, while i wait for recasts, i switch weapons and hit both my "weapon dependent" spells (walk the plank and torporus strike), then re-don my primary weapon and continue clicking whatever pops first (leaning heavily on the 30 second spells that are in = and <ALT> = )

This happends like 1(assist key),2,3,...,-,=,<alt> = ,<CTRL> = ,<alt> -,<alt> 0,<alt> 9,...<alt> 6,Weapon dependent stuff ... ,<CTRL> 0, the rest is above

i gotta play other ppls toons alot too, which is why my hotbars are set up this way. no matter what class the toon is somehow it gets organized really nice in this setup, with hotkeys for quick gear switching and clickys and everything.

The on on the left is for the dumb shit, the one with the sneaks on em are for rarely used abilities, and the ones to the right of that are for poisons for quick switching in combat, gear clickys, and then a hotbar just for macros, like when u gotta constantly switch targets between mobs/tanks/etc, or call AEs, or whatever.
