What are your thoughts on the Ballad Blade? I had never seen it until lastnight. The delay is what you want from a 1H and it appears to be a mini version of Chel'Drak's Shard in an obscure way. So for players like myself that are still waiting on one of the top 4 1Hs to drop for me, does this weapon have potential? What adornment would you use? Or is it just simply a vendor quest item? =)

Personally I'd say if you're looking to go 1h but can't get any fabled ones (Frostwrath and Shadow Axe are attained pretty easily), farm the Modinthalis off of Garanel in Unrest. I know a lot of people say dw is better for speccing until you can get a really good 1h, but personally I just always enjoyed using 1h weapons more than dual wielding

Or if you don't feel like farming the Modinthalis from Unrest, check the broker for Ancient Velium weapons. There are a few 1h ones (the Short spear and Rapier come to mind) that are pretty nice for legendary weapons.

Ehh velium 1h SUCK for DPS

While CDS may be a rarer drop from chel for ya... just kill chel once a week till you get it. He's not that hard and TBH if you are even looking at this list for what pieces of armor you should wear you can probably kill him. With an idea of what the hell is going on he is easy to kill.
