So im talking to my arch rival thats right the swashy in the guild who happens to be raid leader haha and wont give me the buffs i want. DAMN HIM ILL DOUBLE UP MY SWORD IN HIS ARSE ONE DAY . We were discussing 1h weapons that will maximize dps and realizing that the eh ones just wont drop for us. He was telling me he felt the shadow axe really was the best 1hs out there for dps .Mind you this is not condsidering the eh weapons .

So i come here to my brethren those who might have more insight to the question at hand .I havent been playing my brig long mind u so this is all a learning exp i lv'd him in the last 2 months or so he is maxed on aa and all . But by far seem to be the funnest class i have played .

So i ask u what weapons would u say are best for 1h spec if u could plz list them in the best to least because as we all know shit dont drop for brigs come on now

The only one handed weapon in the Best Gear stickied thread that Pantz made that doesn't come from EH is Chel Drak's Shard. So I'd suppose thats better than the Shadow Axe.

CCM and AONO are up for debate atm. A lot of it would depends on your group make up and how much haste you have ect.

Unless it is shard or better you will get better dps from dwing

i think most of us agree on that, that is why pants listed one handers you would want that way

but from my testing and parsing, if you want one-hander and cant get shard or better
then you want an hos weapon for sure, i like Venekor weapons over shadow axe, so i agree with Kyros ;-)

yay! i'm agreed with!

still depends on the DW weapons you have, but the mobs that the DWs drop off of are easier to get to, for the most part. i actually found our that dual wielding wurmslayer and vampiric axe of balance was equal to the shard for me. take that as you will. most of it is a play style choice.

A lot of it really depends on group make-up and weapon delays for the lower tier'd 1H. But yeah, for the most part unless your CDS or better DW will win out, especially if you can get your hands on IA.

Eh I have one of the weapons off Venekor, Ancient Sarnak War Cutlass (same DR, damage, and delay as Ancient Vorpal Blade), but I'd probably still take a Shadow Axe. Not having a proc on the weapon really has a way of lowering dps, and no tempers can really make up for the weapon not having a proc.

Though I would agree it's probably easier to dps using dw, I personally keep my 1h setup cause I tank a lot of heroic content, and the lunge reversal helps me hold aggro better on multiple mobs
