Procs are nice...but you have to remember that in most cases the proc on a weapon only accounts for 1-1.5% of your damage. It could be more beneficial to take the weapon with a higher crit potential and no proc, depending on your STR and Crit %. Your auto-attack damage is a much higher percentage of your damage. It's all situational...

However, while the Shadow Axe does have a lower DR, it's actual damage is also higher, albeit a slightly higher delay as well.

Btw, I'm interested, does anyone have a breakdown of their damage? I haven't ever looked at it on ACT, I plan on checking it out tonight, but I'm interested to see what everyone else comes up with as well

With CCM, i average about 38-40% slash dmg from auto atk depending on if I have IA for the night. The rest is procs and CAs.

I'm using CCM but still can't reach 38%~40% melee..don't know why..

Are you watching you haste during the fight and using CAs accordingly? Meaning delays and such especially during CoB?
