I didn't start playing until post-DoF, but was playing a ranger in a small family guild up until KoS release. Then our guild kind of got absorbed into a casual raiding guild. At that time there were about six rangers in the guild, but no brigands. I volunteered to roll one to help the raid force and haven't really played my ranger since.

November 04 Brigand. The class(game) has changed so many times since then it is a little hard to remember exactly what drew me to it originally. I guess I wanted to take peoples money while stabbing them and stuff. 291 days played and many alts later brigand remains my favorite, no question.

I played a Paladin, started raiding... realized that the likelihood of me to continue raiding as a Paladin was pretty slim, so I made a Brigand. This was in November of 2005, a few months after DoF came out I believe.

I haven't looked back since, the difference was night and day as far as fun factor for me at least.

made my brigand feb 05 right before i went on a 6 month deplyoment for the navy because i was bored trying to solo on my inquisitor. got him up a few lv's, was at sea for 6 months, came back and bam LU 13 had hit and everything was diff. got back into my inq for a bit, then decided to lv my brigand up to max lv and play him. didn't raid much DoF with him (guild was short on healres at the time). About Midway though KoS i switched main's offically (been playing my brigand for all but raids at this point) and haven't looked back since :P

I began playing late into kos. Was in a casual raid guild that kept losing are brigs. One would come in suck for a while get desent gear finally start parsing and then leave. So i decided to retire my wizzie who was competeing with a new guild wizzard who i can't deny out parsed me rather frequently. I hated being number 2 in the parse and the officer forums had a few threads saying we need a brig so i started one. By level 10 i was infatuated with my brigand got him to 70 in a month while still raiding 5-6 times a week on my wizzie. Now I don't think i can ever go back.

played a ranger for a while until we moved to pvp

then we were evil so i made a brig because it was the only class that fit what i wanted to be able to do in pvp (tank a little, dps a lot)

I've always played spellcasters prior to EQ2. After dabbling on a few different classes, I was chatting w/ a friend from EQ1 (a Rogue), & he asked how the class was in EQ2. I explained about the whole Scout thing (told him to see for himself as well =p ), & then realised I hadn't tried a Scout-type... While I've found other classes fun, none keep me coming back like the Brig

for me it was back in june of 2005 the only class i have played in any rpg was a rogue and i hate playing a good class so brigand it was i was not at cap when lu13 and dof came out but when i saw what they changed the class too i was more than happy to level up as fast as i could
