I usually refrain from posting game mechanics equations, but I thought I'd share this one:
N(x) = Nerfing (of class x)
W = Whining (of class x)
P = Praise (of class x)
L = Locke's Mood (1-10)
N(x) = (P-W)/L
IFF N(x) < -1 then
W(mode) = N(x), where W(mode) reflects the ability most represented by W
On that particular day for x = Brigands:
W = 27 posts
P = 17 posts
L = 5 [average]
( 17-27 ) / 5 = -2, and -2 < -1, then
W(amazing reflexes) = N(x) = -2
Therefore, a calculated nerf of -2 must be applied towards the mode of W, which is amazing reflexes.
Each morning, I roll a 20-sided die to determine which class gets looked at. Guardians, Furies, Swashbucklers, and Illusionists are not listed on the die, so I only apply it to them on leap days.
