Whats a Brigand All about?

After posting in the general section, most referred me back to class specific forums to seek out the answers I seek.

Currently I'm trying to understand how the Swash/Troub/Dirge and Brigand differ. So I've come to the Brigand forums hoping you fellow Brigands might shed some light on what your class is about. Specifically:

1) Do you solo well?
2) What is your role on raids?
3) Are you very gear dependant to perform your job well?
4) How does your DPS compare to say the other scout classes I mentioned?

Any additional Information would be appreciated.

1) Fine
2) Debuff, DPS, Lifesave aggroing people
3) Not that much
4) Predator > Rogues > Bards

1) Do you solo well?
I solo better than anyone else I know, really depends on skill and your gear/spells though. I've found that if i can kill the mob in under 30 seconds solo (at 2k dps at level 70). I can kill it, regardless if its heroic or solo.
2) What is your role on raids?
Debuff, DPS, Tank (just a touch of this), clobber people who get out of line.
3) Are you very gear dependant to perform your job well?
I am VERY gear dependant and spell quality dependant... but its because i min/max.
4) How does your DPS compare to say the other scout classes I mentioned?
Personally, i usually get beat by Predators on the parse... swashie every once in a while, bards... lol never.

2) Debuff, dps, laugh
3) No
4) Worse then Predators. More relieble ( spelling? ) then swashys.

I maintain 1.4k dps during fights and thats pretty much my zoneparse with the setup i get. No matter what weapon i use, no matter if i use 1hand wis line or dualwields.

If gear include masters, then very dependant lmao.
