Both of us were using Chel'draks Shard at the time. And for the record theres only so many buffs you can hand out during a raid, the group you were in was more than sufficient to put out some DPS. Our main role on a raid is to keep the mob fully debuffed, thats why no one bothered you about your subpar dps. But if you stopped the constant bitching about group setup, and focused on the areas you needed improving like I told you to, you would not have been such a failure.

I would take an illusionist over dirge almost any day.
Arm + haste

but i am DWing, with freehand Dirge pwns illus depending on delay and what not

I would do 2k to 2400(if i had arm)
But couldnt touch casters with TC and vim

arm adds about 300 to crappy dpsers and between 400-600 on good players
TC has about the same effect on casters, does big things to locks but we had agro problems

I could almost ZW 1500 without a group, would be 1300+ easy

Group setup is huge for Brigs.....anyone who thinks otherwise, is meh.

Though I have never parsed with an illusionist, because our Ranger has him on lockdown...lol, but depending on setup a Brigs dps can easily go from 1500-2500 with a few changes.

My normal group is - Templar, Dirge, Zerker, Ranger, Me, whoever

Doing say 3rd floor EH trash I was parsing 2400+ pretty easily (with caustic, since I didn't put Tender poison on).

Say I ran late for some reason and get in a different setup I might only parse 1600ish without much in the way of buffs.

Plus I have 2 pretty shitty DW's since the fucktard Bards have more DKP then me - so figure in a Rapier of Darkness / Bisected / Pick / Axe of Battle, etc...and that number jumps.

Illusionary Arm goes to the Ranger/Assasssin in group first. But then again I ALWAYS use Deceitfulness, Ruthless Cunning, Thugs whenever they're up.

Again I'm just here trying to prove my point, that a brig doesn't need the "uber" group to parse decently. I figured if he had more of the "respected" brigs telling him the same thing, he'd finally listen....

First of all, I didn't leave the guild because I parsed low, that is just one of the points I made as I did ask for some group setup changes, numerous times, but I didn't get any respect for my thoughts. It was just ONE of the reasons that finally led me to deguild myself.

If you show the parses with my numbers in them, either show my group setup, or show parses where you and I were both in the same group. I understand that a Ranger should get a spot in the uber dps group over me, but before we had a ranger, or an assassin, and we got pretty much the same buffs, those parses were almost equal, although you did always come up on top since you were better at sweet talking furies, conjurors, etc into giving you the proc buffs.

And as for my failure as a Brigand, was it my failure that caused you to want to change mains to an assassin, or that allowed you to? or was it my failure as you had to change back after I left because 2 brigands left the guild in the same week? Give me a little respect, I'm a casual player that spent 3 hours online on raid days 45 minutes of waiting outside the zone for 18 players that could never make it on time.

I switched mains because I wanted to try out a pure DPS class.

Actually before you left I was getting bored of my Assassin, and missed all the fun things about my Brig. I just needed a reason to switch back. You leaving made it easy for me. And the other brig was only really here for a week during transfers, and left so he could play casually on his old server.

Every guild has it's ups and downs, you lacked the patience to wait out the storm. Your choice.

you had a dream group and were doing about what you should have been. illusionist only buffs freethinkers zw should be 1800ish since a casual raider prob doesnt have much proc gear to benefit from a templar.
