Emerald Halls Champion

Anyone been chosen as the Champion of their guild yet in Emerald Halls? (the trial to clear some of the trash mobs)

Just looking for some insights.....I havent done it yet but one of our swashies got OWNED! LOL

So just looking to glean some knowledge from anyone's experience with the encounter, so i dont get ridculed endless like our swashy. I heard the mobs of immune to stun?

The honor and prestige of the Brigand class is at stake here! lol

Also, what scout classes have you all seen your guild use for this?

Swash took down the encounter in about 30 seconds, gotta take out the down arrow Priest and then work on the other mob. He went down to about 80% health after it was all over.

Better not be Mir, or I'll make fun of her too hehe =)

We didn't know what to expect, and got a Mage on the second floor. Our Conjuror did well, but was getting melee'd for too much to handle.

On the 3rd floor we got a fighter, and our SK wasn't able to do it.

My strat (though we are sending in a Swashie) would be to land Walk the Plank on the Priest, and burn Dispatch, Devitalize, Malicious Assault - double up. (since I also heard they can't be stunned, or I would throw in Restrain, etc)

They can be snared, and we can do that pretty well in the end if need be.

I would molest them... plain and simple.. even with stun immune.. i'd spank any white ^^^ if i had prep time.

Make sure you put up thugs, and both short term buffs on pull.

I've heard they're immune to.. root, stun, stifle and only snare work on them...
As a swash I guess it'd be easy to jsut AoE all the mobs down with Inspiration and Hurricane.. =)

i've done the challenges - they're easy.. i don't understand the hype, just fight them and beat them - tbh they're not even as hard as the boss of nest of the great egg.

if you're having trouble use vitality breach and/or the brell diety cloak - but seriously it's kind of a /yawn

We used our ranger. Ring was dead in seconds. Probably will continue to do that, so i don't anticipate a turn for a while.

yeah our swash, templar, and conjuror pwnd the shit out of all of them no problems.. the only close one was the conj and thats cuz his slow was resisted like 2 times in a row, heh.

I raped ours pretty good last night on 3rd floor... No trees ftw! Briggy trade secret makes it a bit easier for us to kil the encounter though.
