Yeah, while MA is useful somewhat, it's by no means a must have. I definitely agree that the afflictions aren't as good as they seem. That's why I'm thinking of playing around with it.

I'm not saying it's bad to have, I'm just saying it's not absolutely necessary  What I do consider necessary, aside from Tenure, is the decreased sneak casting timer, and the increased AR proc chance, since I tend not to joust.

Yeah right now I am full Tenure (Despairing, Dispatch, RR, Devitalize, Tenure) - then down the right side for MA, with the last points in AR (5/5) Underground Nego (5/5) and 2 in Elude just for shits and giggles.
Was thinking about playing around with it to try out Safehouse - since the debuffs before MA are a fucking waste.

I just respec'ed safehouse a week ago.
Loveing it.
Went full tenure same as Meridian.. but went 5 shroud, 5 elude, 3 skewer (had to do this to activate AR because i REFUSE to put points in cheapshot), 5 AR, 5 hideaway and 1 in safehouse.
I've been spamming my elude and try to save hideaway for when i grab aggro... which happens ... a lot. But safehouse has saved me a few times due to my stupid tendancy to double up Thuggish negotations just a few seconds after pull of a group of mobs... but eh, I only have to run from my healer back to the fight, no rebuffing required... so I really like the change.

The only difference I have is that I gave up points in tactics to max out sneak and hardened, though I'm not sure how worth it hardened is, it really doesn't hurt. I'm thinking about putting those points into revoke though.

5 Ruinous Rake
5 Despairing Thrust
5 Devitalize
5 Dispatch
Tenure
5 Underground Negotiation
5 Sneak
5 Elude
5 Hideaway
5 AR
3 Cheapshot (could have went Skewer, but meh CS is decent for solo)
Safehouse
Gonna try it out, and see how it works

Similar to what I repec'd to the other night for some playing around. I kind of like the improved Hideaway recast by 20 sec. Safehouse saved my life a few times in EH last night when taking agro on trash...kind of a change. Being able to dump more hate with Ellude and Hideaway, without having to run Ignorant Bliss, was useful I guess.
For some fun, I put a few remaining points in to Subterfuge for the extra hate position increases. It's nice being able to pop that and guarantee agro for a hit, but I don't view it as anything essential. It's useful for tanking Tactician's Armor, because you can force pull him off pretty much anyone with one button.

It's funny - but with the increased hate dump you get from Hideaway and Elude, you can stop running Bliss - which in turn means you can run Turgur.
Point being, you debuff attack speed better then going the Shrouded Blade line in our AA's, by going Safehouse and being able to run Turgur

I spec'd safehouse and am loving it so far. Really nice when you stay in on Mayong or Wuoshi and AR just happens to drop right before an AE. I Don't even bother to gear for HP just full DPS so sometimes they one shot. I always just set it to port me to my healer and just throw in group chat heal me if it goes off since it looks like you are dead on the group window. Last night for Mayong, I stayed in full time and actually tanked him for a good bit when the MT got charmed. Personall, I think MA is overrated being that really, it doesn't hardly affect any AEs.
