Default Poison Question

Hey guys, first post on the site. .. a friend told me I could get better advice on this site then the "Official" site Ha!

anyways, I've been playing my Warden since release and am just flat burned out on healing at the moment so I rolled a Brig a few weeks back.. I'm currently lvl 39 and was wondering with 40 fast approaching if I should be concerning myself with using other poisons? I've really only used Caustics since i've been leveling up and didn't know if all the others were just the typical shit "Fillers" that sony likes to throw in..

Now I Know these poisons are utilized in raiding and other long duration content but would they do me any good at my level on normal content?

If there are others I should be using while leveling up, what do you suggest?

Thanks for any info ...

Vitality Breach is the heal / damage one.

Is the Vtality Breach usable at level 40? What about the poisons that slow the mob? .. are they worth a shit on normal group heroic?

and thanks for the info..

I really don't know.

Do a search for stupefying poison and Vitality Breach (or breech) poison.

You can have a max of 3 poisons on at once.

The color of the poisons are whats important (one level 70 poison falls outside this rule but i won't get into it now).

One Red (usually damage a mob)
One Blue (I call this the MISC category)
One Purple (this is about changing a mobs stats)

Hope that helps.

all the info is very helpful, thanks guys.
I just wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my money on non-damage poisons at lvl 40 if they were not going to contribute much to non-raid content..

Thanks again

for solo/heroic content you almost always want the lifetap (vitality breach) up. you don't get these until L52 however.

as you move into raid content where your DPS is more important than the heal effect, you'll go back to caustic. the powertap (mental breach) is also a necessity on some endgame raid mobs, as the fights can last 5-10 minutes, with power draining AE's, and you WILL be out of power even with hearts/shards to clicky.

i'm not sure if they're available before L52, but the ones that debuff the mobs attack skills (enfeebling) are decent for soloing or small grouping hard stuff. the defensive debuff (gracelessness) is great for raid mobs (or anything that's yellow/orange).

the blue poisons aren't really a necessity if you're not raiding, but the turgurs (attack speed slow) is a pretty decent choice.

just do a broker search for itemtype POISON + keyword "grandmaster" and it'll bring up everything that's available in T7 for you. then keep in mind that your choices scale back as you go down in tiers. the important ones (power/life taps) for you become available at L52 though.
