Hi Guys

I've finally got a good work-in-progress build for my brigand and I'm looking at some guidance for whether I'm going the right direction.

My build is here. I'm sitting on 717 str self-buffed, 163 int, 20% melee crit (somehow Proffit UI has rounded crit to 20%, I have Sour Choker, Class Gear and Solitaire earring to go with my STR AA melee crit). I have yet to get a BP adornment.

I am specced AA-wise for dual wield:

Rogue AA
STR 4-7-4-8-1
AGI 4-4-6-8-1

Brigand AA
(I'll update this when I get home)

I have a scint phantom handle on each dual wield and I'm currently using Waning Moon Cutter and Windrazor with a Qeynos Kilig in my inventory waiting for the one hand changes and currently working on SoD for the Soulfire Sabre.

I use grandmaster caustic poisons, and we attempted EH for the first time this past weekend which is why I have a Waning Moon Cutter now from Sarik and we have gotten 3 seeds. Our idea is to keep hitting EH each week for seeds to make some poison seeds to replace our caustic.

So my questions are:

- I was initially keeping Windrazor to offset the delay for the off-hand weapon as it has a fast attack speed, is this necessary or pointless?

- I plan to adorn Qeynos Kilig with a Phantom Handle and replace windrazor anyway, is this a smart move?

- My guild isn't quite raid-worthy to kill Mayong in any form so Soulfire Sabre isn't likely to be a current target. So far our initial forays into EoF raids were killing Sarik EH and Shredder FT. I know they aren't uber but is plugging away at both of those, while maintaining a raid schedule of DT and HoS still vaild moves? We now have LABs and Lyceum raids during the week but is that a good raid schedule or if not what would you suggest?

First off, the Waning Moon Cutter is a nice weapon...but for your offhand. You want something with a little higher delay in the main hand. I would definitely suggest a Grinning Dirk of Horror from Lyceum. It's damn good and you can definitely kill the mob.

Other than that, take points out of the in-combat movement speed and put them into Walk the Plank on the agility line. The increased damage on the CA is more crucial than moving a bit faster.

I know this isn't answering everything, but I'm in a bit of a hurry

ah true that, I only had 2 extra points in in-combat move speed mainly cos they were prior to the change that allowed all AA attacks to be on different timers. I'll change that now. I'm still trying for weapons like GDoH but I 'm in a another timezone so I can't attend the Lyceum weekday raids.

I'm pretty sure that even the legendary Lucanic Sabre from SoD would outparse the Windrazor by a fair bit, not to meantion the increase in procs you will see with that in your main hand.

Given how easy the quest is now, obtainig that one shouldn't be a problem,

Not crazy about either of those weapons really. They are way fast, so they don't gain much from haste and their top ends are pretty bad as I remember. If you can do Lyceum, you can do Halls of Seeing. Work for a Grinning Dirk, Dirk of Negativity, or even do the quest for the Wurmslayer. Those should all be within your grasp for the content you are doing.

In your position though, you are able to complete Soulfire right?

To be honest. I can complete the Legendary version of it. But my guild is ... ... Umm... can't talk about it... well just say we can't kill mayong >< (and yes I'm sore about it)

Alrighties...GDoH or DoN, I'll have to throw a sickie to go to a weekday raid (6pm PST raid time is 1pm in the afternoon in my corner of the world).
