    Default Returning to Play Brigand

Ok, so now that I have returned I am intending to play my Brigand (53)/Jeweler(25) and have a few questions. I will also, be playing a few other classes, Wizard/Sage, Assassin (10-Scholor).

    1) Currently he is level 25 Jeweler. In your all opinions should I change that to Alchemist so that I can make my own poisons?
    - I am in a guild, so I am sure that I can have the equipment, weapons, etc made if needed.

    2) Adorning/Tinkering. Is this something that should be done just once, or are there non-tradable things that are worth leveling them up. I know can be a pain because of leveling transmuting.

    3) I have in the neighborhood of 130 AAs. Should I just level to 90, and then farm to 280, do a split and level, level lock?

    4) I know this is a wierd question, but in order what is more important to try to upgrade since funds are a little limited, weapons, armor, jewelry, skills/spells?

    5) I know the weapon speed of my weapons should be the same. Two questions on that,
5a) What is the recommended weapon speed to shoot for to maximize autoattack damage but allow me to get my skills in.

5b) Does any weapon type (pierce, slash, crushing) have an advantage over the next?

    6) If needed, what is the recommended Merc? Kenny seems really expensive right now.

If anyone has the patience and any other advice, please let me know. Looking forward to playing Ishmael again.

    1) The answer is whatever you want to do. All have their uses for a brigand except the sage. Alchemists are good for poisons and other potions. Jewelers are useful to make your own CAs and the jewelery, too. Provisioners are good for the stat foods. I could go on...

    2) Adorning / Tinkering is really only really needed on one character, IMO, now that most (if not all) items are tradeable.

    3) With the recent changes to AAs, you will have at least 280AA by the time you reach 90. After 280 it's mostly grinding, and 340-350 is a super pain at any level. That being said, more AAs make lower levels a lot easier.

    4) For the most part any old junk is fine until around 90. Upgrade with drops as you get them. Starting around 60ish there are quest lines that give decent gear for the level. You won't be raiding in it, and it's fine for the rest.

5a) I prefer 4.0 weapons on my brigand, but some swear that 6.0 works better for them. It's really personal preference I guess. With 4.0 weapons and max casting speed / refresh speed I can get 2 or 3 combat arts between autos.
5b) None at all, really. Get the stats that make sense for you.

    6) I usually go with Stamper (Inquisitor), though by 95-100 he is showing his age. Never found Kenny, but I hear he is better than Stamper.

    7) Reforging, while not absolutely necessary at lower levels, is highly recommended @90+.

All of this is, of course, IMO.
