Default extra AA's

What are you guys thinking about where to put extra points in the brawler tree? If you wanna be defensive you have alot of options, but for DPS, the choice seems relatively clear.

So look slike best DPS setup for bruiser is going to be
AGI 4/4/8
STA 4/8/8
WIS 4/4/8
INT 4/4/8

I gave the extra 4 to STA, because Mantis Star rocks. Back in KoS when I used to study parses and stuff, I figured that a Rank 8 Mantis Star, If maintained on an epic mob, would reduce its hit points by 12%. If youf looking for the best DPS build that is probably the way to go.

Though I suppose you could drop the AGI line for Crane Flock... What do you guys think?

Go both they are also giving us the dual aa house item.

DPS setup for bruiser #1
AGI 4/4/8
STA 4/5/8 (sta debuff has a cap)
WIS 4/8/8 (3 sec aoe stun sure helps on avatar type fights)
INT 4/4/8

and
tank/dps setup #2
4/7/8 Agi (agi line also lowers recast on crane flock)
4/8/8/4/2 Wis
4/6/8/4/2 Int (u can also switch the int and agi line and take final agi)

I am actually not sure if sta line can out dps a 2.5 min recast crane flock. So build 2 may be more dps then build 1 AND i would tank better.

You know i really wish NOW they would redo the str line becuase a reduced double atk would kick ass.

The bruiser AA's (EOF) i have no clue what to do with. Do i spend points on upgrading taunts and the deagro stance?
Do i spend points on the cure and stun mit buff?
Heck all my options suck the interecede Line is just as good now =/.

yeah the EoF line is like ... ehhhhh

STR line definetley needs fixing though. Remove the bare fisted requirement and then we'd actually have to THINK a bit about which setup to choose.

I'm currently Wis - 4/4/8/8/1 and Int - 4/4/8/7 and think I'll keep it and put the other points into Agi 4/4/8 or something like that. Reuse speed reduction on Crane Flock will be nice. I like to tank, and usually do, so I like to keep the Crane Flock for AE aggro and dps as well as the hp and parry from wis int lines. Don't want to go to any extremes to get an extra 100dps. I'm also down the taunt line for bruiser tree, so i'll use the extra points for that side maybe down the intercede line and try it out.

The extra aa's are being added with the expansion. I personally think Gungo's 2nd tank/dps setup will be more dps than going sta. Mantis bolt didn't really do shit for me on my zw. Craneflock is more viable imo, especially with the already noted decreased reuse. And god yes I wish they would do something with the str line fucking roleplaying fags screwed us out of that.

thanks trumak and if i come back for the expansion #2 is what im going to go with i loved craneflock when lvling up and the sta lines proc rlly doesent do that much damage

Agreed. STR line needs something done to it... something. Another big problem I have is that a dev said (I wish I coudl find the post) that Epic Weapons woudl NOT interfere with anyone's AA's. I think they are overlooking the STR line.

if Anything make it work with weapons, but perhaps slightly weaker than it is now... and maybe give it an extra little bonus for unarmed. Similar to how our offensive stance used to be. Worked with weapons AND without... just differently if unarmed.

The damage amount on the sta proc should increase w level, BUT i still dont think it can beat a reduced recast craneflock for dps. Would definetly have to test it. It may turn out to be better until i get ahold of some t8 fabled wpns.
