I agree that you guys are lacking in new gear options, but honestly, after so many expansions of getting way WAY too much stuff catered to your class I would have hoped you wouldn't all turn into spoiled children when things aren't so heavily catered towards two classes anymore.

In the past brawlers have had gear that catered specifically to us because we're excluded from using so much gear by definition... just because we require something that isn't in keeping with the traditional gear types doesn't mean it shouldn't be in the game.

Look, for example, at our total exclusion on the Anaphylaxis quest in jarsath.

No, they didn't add brawler weapon in quest Anaphylaxis. They added a 1h weapon for scouts, guardian and berserker.

Every expansion we have at most raid wide a half dozen drops catered to us (not including class gear). Woot for 6 brawler specific items.

At the same time we are a tank/dps class that can only wear leather or cloth. All cloth gear is basically caster specific. Most leather gear is healer oreinted. If the leather gear is dps oreinted its usually coveted by scouts unless of course scouts can get a better piece from chain. (hence scouts get a better selection)

On weapons we get the most restricted from any fighter/scout. we cant use any swords axes or the like. we can only use hammers/clubs/etc and fist weapons. 2 handers like for most classes suck even for us. So we either got a choice of hammers which if they are really good are just as good for a warrior or fist which is generally the ONLY brawler specific item we can use. In this case every expansion does give us a choice between ~3-4 weapons to drop. These are usually nice and we will take what we can get but seriously look at the best brawler fist weapon damage potential and look at the best scout weapon and our damage range on brawler weapon is vastly inferior.

Every expansion? Well EoF was not nearly as bad as KoS that probably had more brawler weapons than scout/fighter weapons (fists of this and that, calamities, skewer, sod, hod, 2-3 batons, there were loads, the list went on and on, and that was just the weapons, all of this for 2 classes), the thing is that most guilds roll with 0-1 brawler, out of 24 raid slots, which would pretty much mean that well there should be about 4% of the available loot oriented towards them, that's what I saw in EoF I think you might be right, probably more than 6, but there was some decent leather out there in EOF however it was desirable by scouts as well which lessened the groaning when the boxes were opened.

I played a bruiser as my main in DoF and KoS (switched cos I wussed out and couldn't bear the pain anymore), but the least of my problems back then was my overflowing bags full of drops I got for min bid because I was the only person who could or would want to wear them, and remember the groans as boxes were opened to another brawler drop, dunno how much of that's changed with the current expansion, seemed to me there was less brawler-specific gear in EoF which I didn't find bad, it was a decent balance between good leather drops by having them scout/tank desirable, but then again as I've quested through the levels in RoK, I've noticed quite a few treasured and legendary jewelry rewards with +deflection on them, and (as a non-brawler!) wished that the itemization points would have been spent elsewhere to make a nice item even better :P

why doesn't SoE just get rid of brawlers entirely as they are so obviously unplayed and therefore not worth the inclusion of loot.
