Anyone know how to boost your chances at a riposte? Is it based solely on parry or does deflection offer a chance?

Parry, +riposte% and +parry% are the only ways to increase the number of ripostes you will perform for a given number of attacks over a given number of time.

There's also the Strength line of the Brawler tree. But, unless SOE gets their heads out of their collective butts, you have to give up weapons for what is essentially a two hander with no stats.

You know there should be an item that boosts our base riposte chance. Like something that boosts base riposte chance to 50% on a succsessful parry.

You mean like that plate item from Chelsith I think it is (could be wrong there), that boosts riposte damage by 50%. Yayyy go Warriors and Crusaders for unique loot with good procs.

soe has to butt fuck one of the brawlers for an expansion it just happened to be us this expansion. and they claim we would have whined if we had gotten adreniline or peel for our lvl 80. our str line is pretty much like giving crusaders or warriors the ability to get some kick ass shit but force them to use a 1 hander from kos and no shield.

No, our Strength line is like giving Warriors/Crusaders a bad ass tanking AA line, but saying they can only use a round shield and no weapon.
