I have been reading these forums for quite some time now. I keep seeing this same scenario played out. Someone posts a newb quesion, gets flamed, and retailiates. Sometimes others chime in to defend the one geting flamed or the flamer. My question is this:

Why do you bring your emotions to a website?

Seriously, its a website for a video game. So what if Pinski is a salty turd. He is also one one the best posters on this site. The dude knows his stuff. Take it for what it is, a bunch of trash taking video gamers who, for the most part, are a very valuable resource to those of us who want to improve their game.

Ummm, I'm confused. Was that post directed at me or the OP? If it was directed at me then I didn't get my point across as clearly as I had intended. I wasn't challenging the validity of Pinski's question. The point I was trying to make was stop being so emotionally invested in a video game web site. Thats why I refered to a generic scenario being played out.
If the post was directed at the OP then please disreguard my previous misunderstanding.
