Hi, I've pretty much solo'd my way up to level 75 with 118 aa. I have just got the Fists of Bashing from the TT Raid zone, but thus far I am using the STR line. I want to raid some T7 before I start T8, but there doesn't seem to be much advice about what sort of weapons I should go for? I've never been one to try to maximize my dps, having been content to play the game for fun while soloing, but I'd like to make myself a more effecient and effective member of the raid force now, so would appreciate any advice people could give me, especially regarding what 2 weapons I should get (T7 Raid or non-Raid / T8 non-Raid) and what I should look for - Weapons speed, damage spread etc.

Sorry if I seem like a n00b, but I really want to improve my game for my guild/raid mates. many thanks in advance

You want 2 weapons with the same delay. Your best chances of this are likely going to be a 2.5 second dellay weapon in each hand, as these are most common.

As you level up, I woudl suggest you try to do some of the T8 Group Instances. There are several nice weapons that drop from some of those zones, as well as the anaphylaxis quest, which yields a nice 2 hander.

As far as spread, your probably not going to find too much spreas in legendary 1 handers, but typically you want the highest max damage you can find, so that your critical hits will be higher. The speed of the weapons isn't as important as the fact that you want both duel wields to have the same delay. This helps you with timing combat arts inbetween autoattack swings.

T-Assassin

i went all the way to 80 STR specced.

was good DPS for the stuff we did, mostly EOF/RoK instances. always in top 2-3 on parses (only falling short of assassins and well played brigands)

once i hit 80, got lucky and looted Ryjesium Forged Knuckles from CoA.

soon after, went after my epic (which can be done fairly quick with a good group).

boosted DPS a pretty decent amount (dropped STR went WIS), all without steppin foot in a raid zone.

and if ya hit RoK raids, Doomcoil's baton would be a repalcement to the Ryjesium knucks, and not that hard to get.

*edit* STR line > the 2-hander you get from anaphylaxis, from my experience/parses.

If you are going to raid T7 your best option is probably the Soulfire. Its a relatvley easy quest and killing mayong in Inner sanctum is the last update. Its better than any weapon your gonna find in a T8 instance. Pair that up with your epic weapon or the fabled ones out of Crypt and you should be fine untill you start raiding T8 content.
