I've never had the shiftiness AA but am considering the line. When Shiftiness is cast does that totally replace Manhandle? In other words do we sacrifice the dmg proc of manhandle to gain the de-agro?

I know manhandle only accounts for like 10 dps. But just wondering before I get the skill.

Yes. Just like your stances, only one can be up at a time, and casting one, will grey out the others. The same is true for shiftiness and manhandle. Shiftiness has the added benefit of behing a hate position recucer if up when you hit control hate as well. It's very very good to have for a raiding bruiser.

Well I have shiftiness and with 5 points it reduces 27% or so it says.... I still pull agro all the time, I am a bruiser so in the worst group possible and still take the hate alot. God help you if u have a Mythical and someone spins the mob and it procs lol. This aa line seems like a great idea except it is almost useless imo. I do run it still in raids but reuse timers and dmg or intercept slots might be more worth it.

Really there is not a whole lot of choice in our AA's anyway.
The intercede line i am not a fan of wasting points in it.

knockouts is maxed and the first line has everything worth taking except filling out the cure reuse one.

So i took the control line and have the taunts maxed and shitiness and fake death and control hate. Control hate is actually awesome during raids to keep you from pulling or pulling agro.

I do not use shiftiness all the time. Only on fights where agro seems a bit easier to pull. On fights that i am able to i use manhandle for more dps. The highest personal spike i had on a raid mob was the 18 sec duration trash mob in kor-sha i spiked over 11k. But that was mostly due to shamans alcricity, and knockout combo. Holy god alcricity gives me so much freaking dps when timed w knockouts. 4 peice fabled set and bloodthirsty choker each proc is over 1300k a proc and my offensive stance procs 3.9ppm for 1250ish damage as well.

So yes i like shiftiness and control hate, but learn when to use it.

I Like having the option of Shiftiness because some tanks (espicially Hybrids Pally/SK) cant hold aggro (espicially those PUG Tanks lol)

If a pally can't hold aggro he obviously doesn't know who the fuck to put amends on.
