Casting order?
What is the casting order .
I generally go like this.
-master strike (it lowers mobs avoidence making everything else easier to land)
-baton fury (quicker casting)
-eye gouge (no reason not to have this accuracy debuff as soon as possible to help your or the tanks tanking)
-blaze kick (so the dot can work its magic)
-hammer (M2 choice) quick reuse
-front kick quick reuse
-100 hands
- admantite fist & double stop
- comet punch
- gut punch (eagle spin when needed, dont use when tanking)
- uppercut
Thoughts and what is your order?

Re: Casting order?
I move Eye Gouge back with the other CA's that share a recast timer with it. This is for better prolonged DPS, as well as giving it a better chance to land successfuly. (Waiting an extra sec or 2 might ensure more debuffs are on the mob, so you are less likely to MISS the CA.
Also Blaze kick I group with that same bunch that share the same reuse. the extra 1 second I don't view as a big deal.
It's very important to me, to cast Front kick and Hammer as early aspossible, so that they will be back up before I finish my order, usually I can get those 2 in 2-3times before I finish my order. This allows for the least amount of downtime.
So my order starts with Masters strike plus my kerra mitigation debuff, then baton flurry, then hammer and front kick, then 100 hands, eye gouge, blaze kick... and just getting everything in order of recast...

Re: Casting order?
Mine is a little different that Crabbok's.
I open up with Master's Strike if possible, then Baton Flurry, followed by Eye Rip, then into Eagle Spin, Donkey Punch, and Chin Break.. followed by Hammer, Front Kick, etc.
If I'm using KO Combo I'll switch it up and use Hammer and Kick first so they're back up before KO wears off.
My reason for using the longer recast abilities earlier in the fight is so they possibly refresh before the fight ends. I do stagger in the Hammer and Front Kick though, so I'm not waiting around too long with nothing to do.
I have to do more experimenting with different versions of my orders too. Crabbok's order sounds very solid, so you should have plenty of good parses with it.

Re: Casting order?
I took Crab's idea and re-arranged my casting order like this.
master strike > baton furry > everything else in order of recast time and in the case of the same recast time, the highest dps first ( gut punch > chin break for instance)
I think it defineatly helped a bit, although I did notice a bit when eye gouge (mine is M1) was not up so quickly but if you are pulling fast I dont hit every mob with it anyway so no worries there really.
I do think eye gouge defineatly helps you avoid hits a bit better.

Re: Casting order?
Well if your tanking sure it does. My order is used as is, mostly in the role of raid dps. Some mobs I might prioritize one CA over another, hard mobs I might prioritize Eye Gouge to hit first, or on mobs like Trakanon I hardly use the lower damage CAs at all, and try to use mostly 100 hands and gut punch maybe more if i am lucky.
The order I gave is just my more commonly used order I change it up if tanking or in another role.

Re: Casting order?
My casting order atm is (assuming everything is up)
KO,
Baton flurry
eye rip
hammer
front kick
blaze kick
chin break
d-stomp
hundred hands
comet punch
adamantine fist
crane sweep
gut punch
either savage assault or body flail
then hammer and front kick before ko runs out then i will usually pop crane flock. Been spending more time at the wall lately moving stuff around to try to reduce ca down time cause I dont time my ca's

Re: Casting order?
Heres a tip: Watch the mob as he's getting pulled into range... and time Savage Assault so it's your 1st CA. That'll eliminate a long cast-time CA from slowing u down. Don't even bother with body flail unless you get knocked back and you can cast it while running back into position.

Thats actually a great idea.
Tbh honest I never even cast my AOE's unless there are 3 more mobs around as the cast time on all of them is 2 seconds and it seems you would actually lose dps doing that.
Excpt for crane flock which is 1 sec I will ast that with two mobs
Or when I am tanking I cast them to help build aggro on the non targeted mobs.

Re: Casting order?
Crane flock is not 1 sec cast time, I think you mean crane sweep. And even so, Crane Sweep is perfectly fine to cast when DPSing, as I doubt you are autoattacking more than 1 time per second. Time it right and you will not loose any dps.
