BP or not to BP ?

Was wondering for some time now, what would be the choice of the bruiser community on those 3 BP, and why.

- \aITEM 856206917 -68667026:Defibrillating Shozoku\/a
The Shozuku is basically increasing our CAs damage, but from what i heard, is not working on KB combo. Low HP but wonderful Mitigation.

- \aITEM -357242322 -1789175474:Gi of Swirling Lava\/a
Druushk's Gi, good stats, nice hp, great proc (35%crit) on 1,8 rate.

- \aITEM -1822547708 1184300722:Resplendent Raiment\/a
Avatar (still haven't been discovered after 50+ avatars down) nice overall proc 50% melee crit on a 1,6 rate.

Now, my question, is if you had those 3 which one would you use the most. Simply because when right now i'm procing my Druushk Gi+mythical i'm up to 92% crit. So i wonder if 50% is just not a waste of it, especially if it's less frequent than Swirling lava gi.
SHozuku have insane miti, and a different way of dps providing, but is it worth the crit proc loose ?
Questions questions... maybe some of you already have those or some of those, and already compared them, your feedback would be greatly appreciated !

P.S: Our Monk have shozuku and swirling lava and told me he was a bit deceived by shozuku, not beating the swirling lava one apparently. Or is it just because his CAs as a monk are not high enough to compete with bruiser's gain on this item ??? zomg help me...

I would choose the Raiment simply because 250 CA damage that goes over the cap is insanely nice especially since its 250 for multihits as well, If Avatars are pretty camped or unkillable for your guild then I would choose Swirling for the higher DPS mod, Proc, +Crush and Deflect, And HP.

Shozoku is amazing. Think of it this way, Shozoku procs on every CA, and crits, and is higher damage than listed when the mob is debuffed, so it's often 212 extra CA damage, above cap. Plus it's got doubleattack, DPS, and awesome mitigation. At the end of any given night, wearing shozoku, look at zonewides and see how much % of zonewide was shozoku. For me many nights it's been 10% or more.

Now that being said I really like the VP Set BP also. 9 Crit, plus the focus on 100 hands is really nice, as it applies to each hit of 100 hands.

I love my robe of battle but sadly now it's best left to appearance gear. The Shozoku pwns the robe, and the Trak BP pwns the Shozoku... for me at least.

I can't rate the raiment as I don't have it, but I'd love to test drive it someday on the training wall for 6-8 hours straight...

I find it hard to believe anything will beat the Robe on orange con epics. I mean i sit at 75% ish crit on raids, lets say on 87epics you need to hit 120% crit to actually crit EVERY attack, i don't see how a proc (every attack or not) will out do a 100% proc that can be modified. On lower shit yea i'd have no doubt the Shozoku would outparse it but the fucking thing needs to drop so i can test it.

As for the raiment argument, i don't need the CA mod will make minimal difference to me DPS wise, the stats are updated to T8, i mean wow i really want it because of that, o yea and it can't be modified, so yea i'll still with the Robe thanks.

+ it looks shit!

The thing about the crit robe, is that when I used to test it alot... the amount of time it was up, and the total ups in crit% I ended up getting was about 20%. That number will be slightly smaller the higher your base crit becomes.

A raiding bruiser can get 100% crit easily with a bard nowadays... so the usefullness of the T7 robe is diminished. Now if they let crit %'s over 100% give you a chance at crippling blows.... well then it will be king again!

I guess it won't matter either way with the new system they will no doubt be bringing in, kinda pisses me of though that an avatar drop loses it usefulness because the player goes higher in level, i mean im already taking hits from stats/mit so why make it worse.

crit robes will beat the shozuko if you need the crit %.

If your sitting in raids buffed w 85%+ crit i would not wear the robe of battle, swirling, or rainment (in that order). You alreayd have a 12% mythical proc anyway.
I would use the shozuku.

I already use the DA potion and whetstone.
Crit is becoming less needed as i cap it in raids.
