Default Str line deflection

So, with this new +Deflection in the Str line, am I right in saying that it adds to uncontested avoidance? and if that's right is this deflection different than the Stm line Deflection?

Each point gives +2 deflection chance. At level 76 in no stance, each point was giving me .7% to my total deflection. Makes no sense to me honestly. Maybe it adds up to 16% bonus to your deflection (IE, if your at 40%, it adds 16% of 40% to your deflection chance)? No idea. Would need to respec again to test it.

Yeah it gave me roughly .7% per point to deflection vs .3 from 1 point of parry.

The deflection from the STR line affects our deflection in the same way that Shield affectiveness affects a plate tank.

The way I see this actually working out, is that the higher your deflection is to begin with, the more benefit you will see from the bonus from the STR line.
