Hope for more accuracy % as well. That's a damn powerful stat for hit rates.

I noticed a decline in my dps as of late as well, inspite of getting better gear... Was a little disappointed, but I have also been tanking more, so I don't really set myself up for dps too much. I don't do a lot of instances nowadays, due to changing guilds and more raiding. But you should be able to hit for more dps than 2k in all out offensive. I would think that if you can't tank in middle stance, get more def gear. Warding gear is nice, especially raid ward gear, there is a collection ward piece Warstud of everling or something like that... I don't know, its an earing with a ward proc and some +crit. Also like Gungo said %accuracy is nice, do you have points in ur raid buff for that? If not, DO IT. If so, get some better gear, see if you can't look at your AA's to find a better spec (not saying that u did it wrong or anything like that, but something to look into, I'm constantly tweaking my AA with the updates and shit, and with research about other people's success).

I find that I'm a problem if I am not tanking, unless grouped with a better geared pally or something like that. Anyways, we aren't the BEST at holding aggro in the first place, but on a single mob, you should be able to hold ur own pretty damn well. Your hitrate should be higher than the 30%ish range... Not sure what kinda playing you do, but get some raid gear, if you have to buy it...

So update on things - yesterday was a good day to me - got myth and nightmare wraps. +17 crush combined between them, +10 crush combined in charm slots, M1 offensive stance - just tanked nu'roga w/templar and had a 70% hit rate in offensive. I'm going to throw +5 crush on both primary and off-hand and dump 5 points into offensive stance buff (25% increase on the 55 from stance should be another 13 or so points) - we'll see if the 23 more crushing makes an appreciable difference in hit rate. Pisses me off that all the offensive jewelry I have and I see is +slashing and +piercing. I'm going to /feedback that shit later today - it's retarded.

Honestly anything after 520 crush mod is useless. Hit rate issues or not. So you're prolly better off adorning your weapons with phantom/vamp procs.

Well, this is one hell of a necro post. As for my updates, just came back to the game since someone else is actually paying the bill for me(its a present). I bought my dirge his 6th piece of his x4 set(i earned his other gear so i dont wanna hear shit about it) and that extra 10% bonus hit rate has made me like the happiest man on earth.

Been right around like 92% hit rates while tanking and 2 boxing, so works out pretty good. This usually with me tanking in defensive gear while running offensive stance.

Update from here too - (and yeah, necro post ftw) - put +9 crush total on primary and secondary, aa to get another 11 crush out of offensive, and running vek2 in offensive w/hybridish gear (508 crushing), hit rate was 71% on autoattack. Then swapped out defiler for dirge - hit rate was @ 87% on autoattack, and this is without set bonus.

The real kicker - my vek2 overall hit rate was 84.85 vs. overall in NHT of 95.18. It wasn't just losing out on 15% dps from autoattack alone from misses - my damned CA's were missing too. So new rule:

Never tank as a brawler without one of the following, in order of usefulness to hit shit:
1: A dirge
2: A warden
3: A brigand
4: A ranger (temp 10sec buff will help at least)

Can hold aggro just fine without them, but I'll be damned if it doesn't aggravate me seeing random low-ass parses float by while running a zone...

Templar ??
I Prefer the templar buff > Warden, it gives more than just +skills, maybe not as much, but its still better

I try whenever I can to have a dirge and a chanter, preferrably an illy for haste. If I got that I don't care what healer I got, or what my other classes are doin, I can usually hold aggro fine. Anything else with hate transfer is nice.

Warden buff w/ TSO set gives 10% accuracy mod tho iirc. So it all depends.
