I'd like to know how you can cure the debuff without dying? You can't cast a cure pot, and tenacity and close mind do nothing for it. All you can do is FD or die. Some monks were saying they could cure it but I'm just curious how.

I'll be even more pissed off at SOE for this than I already am if monks are still able to do this and bruisers can't.

I cast Tenacity and it removed the detrimental.

Can confirm that Tenacity does remove the detrimental. Of course, the mobs seem to reapply it every 30-45 seconds, so in the meantime you have to stand there taking a beating until Tenacity refresehes.

To add a Shard Quest that's quite soloable, in Scion of Ice, try Closing The Gaps. The arcane rifts you have to close are random spawns throughout the zone, and some will be inaccessible - however on the run I did last night I could get 4 of 6. Reset the zone after 30 minutes, and go in again to get the remainder.

Hidden Agenda in Evernight Abbey is quite doable, but admittedly tough. FD timing is crucial.

Currently what are the easiest quests to run?

I did the statue click in CoA, doable but not easy.

thanks

ive tested it, seems u can interupt the casting of the buff. tried several times just pulling the mob and using group taunt right away and interupted him every time. course its hard to see a casting animation on most mobs but still the chance is there.

The CoA ones are about as easy as they get. Only ones that are of comparable difficulty is Finding Salvation in Bef:HoF and Picking Up The Shards in Crucible. Cold Heat in Deep Forge would be easy if you didn't have to open the lava curtain, but if you struggle with that statue mission, it's probably a bit tough until you get the hang of timing your FD.

It's slow, but if have your mythical and AA stoneskin, you can solo the other shard quests for CoA as well - the ones that require you to kill 10 fallen/disturbed chevaliers and vicars. Desolating Fist takes one down fast, then pick a target and take another out with Knockout and Chi up (or vice versa). Ignore Agony and your stoneskins will keep you alive long enough to do it. Knockout + AoE attacks help you get some breathing room too.

Of course, you can solo those just using Desolating Fist every time it refreshes. Pretty slow though.

If you're struggling to flop the EA/MM/RR instances, get a mentored down zone to practice with (min level of 70). No shinies, but will let you get a much better idea of where everything is and what you need to do to get places and get your harvests. Green mobs are a bit more forgiving than yellow.

Another tip is to invest in upgrading Close Mind as much as you can. Those couple of seconds of extra status effect immunity may not seem like much, but they will make life easier.

I can solo it but it requires an assload of dps and some luck. Not worth the time anymore imo.

Another trick is to use those spring loaded boots. They are a big help when fd'g past mobs.

Easy quests (that can be done in less than 10 minutes): B:COA statutes and pages; B:Halls Click on nonagro epic mob; Crucible: shards and clouds (but requires rentry).
