I got one thing... I tried testing this out, and I'm not sure if it's because it's uncontested avoidance, or what... but... I tried putting 5 pts into the all the time deflection, and 5pts in the deflection in def/middle stances, and they didn't appear to stack (my avoidance didn't increase from just putting 5pts in the all the time deflection). That being said, if they don't stack... why would anyone put 5pts in the deflection in def/middle stance... Like I said, the real question, is: Does it stack, and if it does, does it not show up because it's uncontested?...

the +deflection to your mid/def stance won't show up on your overall avoidance, and instead shows up on one of the sub categories, i forget which one tho atm, but I think it's the min deflect chance? <.>

It does work though!

It boosts your Minimum Deflection chance, which is uncontested. You can see this by mousing over avoidance and looking at "minimum deflection chance"

I do not have 75 % MC just yet, but I still went away from INT line to get both full Wis and full Str..
They are that good imo

I'd say it would be worth it if... it also increased our melee range... because we have to be on top of the mob basically to hit with melee attack, unless they are perfectly grouped up already, you'll just be utilizing the 100% DA... also, the cranetwirl proc, or whatever isn't that great... it adds like a total of bullshit for dps, even on multiple target encounters. I know people argue that it helps hold aggro with multiple target encounters... but really, does it help that much... you sacrifice quite a bit of melee crit in order to get it, if you take out INT line... and eagle spin, which is nice for anything but named/epic because even if tanking you can get sucker punch off which is one of our highest hitting CA's. I have thought about going that way, and getting it, but I'd have a hard time giving up that much crit.

I'm in the same boat, I see no reason at all to drop 18% crit for a half decent AA line with a 16sec aoe auto buff @ the end.

Crit helps you out on both aoe and single target mobs, but wis line only shines if you constantly fight 3 mobs +, and even then the end AA is only a temp buff.

Of course if you're capped on crit then go for it, as you no longer need int line, but atm I sit around 75% ish crit self and I just don't see wis line making up for the loss of crit.

Even if you use the lava gi from VP, it still doesn't help much imo.

yeah, if you are maxed on crit, then the int line doesn't do a whole lot for you. I still like the eagle spin, cuz even if the mob is on you, you can get off the sucker punch, like I said in last post. But if I had max crit, I'd drop it and go for the wis line for the aoe proc, and the temp aoe buff... but still it'd be nice if we had some range on our auto attack, they have to already be focused on us in order for it to work, and even then, you might have to scooch closer to the mobs in order for it to hit. I've really been debated on getting that shard bear mount with increase range on melee attack for that reason, but it's only 1 more meter right?... so, not going to make a big deal. I hate that our range is so short, I mean swashies can reach almost our max CA range, I'd think if we can do our pummel attack, we should be in auto attack range, to me it's just stupid, if they are in range to punch, they ought to be in our attack range... make sense? I think so...

Responding to this from a pure DPS point of view...

I was normally at 92% MC with INT spec, but I swapped to WIS for last weekend raiding with my guild (all TSO x4 zones sans Anashti, Ykesha, and Zarrakon). Compared to the previous weekend with my INT spec (same people in my group), the only time my DPS was actually better was when fighting Tyrannus with the constant adds (and not as OT). Otherwise, my DPS against single-target mobs was noticibly lower. 18.1% Melee Crit is a big difference!

Probably much better used in TSOx1 instances since they're mostly multi-mob encounters anyway, but as Crabbok has said before, I wouldn't spec WIS line until you feel you have enough MC to drop the 18.1% for a merely decent AOE proc (and AOE/DA temp that I don't find useful). I also wouldn't let the illusion of encounter DPS mask the lack of overall DPS you're probably experiencing now. I'll never out-DPS a Shadowknight in Befallen COA, but I out-DPS that same Shadowknight in each boss fight and single-mob encounter every time.

When I hit 98+% MC, I'll drop the INT line for WIS. Even then, I might start looking for DA replacement opportunities before I do that. I'm only at 57% which amazingly hits 90+% in raids (100+% with BC), but I would like a bit more for groups.
