ya just keep in mind, if you are going to hit Crane Flock, you want each one of those AoE attacks and Double attacks to CRIT, otherwise it's a waste.

I posted a comment to this effect on another forum, but, I respecced for crane flock, dropping altruism (keeping the reuse) and the INT line. I tried craneflock on the mobs in the enterance to anashti's room (I forget how many there are, but at least 6). I hit craneflock as soon as they reached the raid, the tank did a good job of keeping them all on him, and backing into a corner (keeping all adds grouped very close). I had chi and ko going on incoming. Anyways, after the fight, I wanted to see how many I was hitting with that up. I sorted my outgoing damage by "special" and scrolled down to "aoe". I saw that I hit quite a few of them at a time (not all) and that after the 2nd second, the aoe disappeared, showing that after 2 sec of fighting crane flock was no longer helping my aoe dps even though it is lasting 15s. We had to do this fight twice, stupid mistake first time. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but the 2nd fight was same outcome. I checked on other fights, like the 1st two nameds with 2 adds, and similar outcome. All in all my dps like daekan's dropped, even on aoe fights. Anyone else notice this problem, or perhaps can tell me that I checked wrong...

It's not a problem. It's just a weak line, hence why others are saying to keep the INT line unless you can afford losing the 18.1% MC. I wouldn't even get Crane Flock and just beef up more points in Deflection, Pressure Point, Baton Flurry, and Defense... just do the minimum for WIS (448) and fill the points into the aformentionables.

I'll be happy to switch when I can hit 85% MC without the INT line and temps.

Total newb here, but I notice people are avoiding the mantis leap line. I have been useing that for awhile, though only recently got the parse program. Now my effect on mantis leap states Makes all melee attacks critical, so I am criting for 10 seconds every 42 seconds is this just not worth it am I missing something or is it a misstype and it really only does effect the very next attack?

Mantis Leap only makes your next attack crit. You get 1 crit for it. Just 1. It cancells as soon as it gives you a crit... but lasts for 10 seconds if you don't attack... so basicly it's crap.

Crane Flock's description is misleading also.

It states that all auto-attacks made will attack up to 4 enemies surrounding the Crane Sensei twice. This is incorrect in both that it is frontal based, not 360 degrees and only the primary target is attacked twice, targets struck by the aoe attack only get attacked once.
